If you don’t want to spend a lot of your NFL DraftKings budget on one wide receiver, here are five cheap options for the Week 10 slate of games.

The Week 10 full slate of games on NFL DraftKings features 11 games, all full of talent at all positions. The week kicked off with the Pittsburgh Steelers trashing the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night. The only game not included is the Sunday night game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, though I wouldn’t want to use many players in that game.

The most expensive wide receiver is Julio Jones at $8,300. He finally scored his first touchdown of the season, so maybe things are looking up. Michael Thomas and Davante Adams are right behind him at $8,100 and $7,800, respectively. If you want to spend your budget on another position or looking for a contrarian play, here are five cheap wide receiver options for the full slate of games.

The word cheap is subjective. In NFL DraftKings terms, my arbitrary number is anyone priced at $6,500 or under. That is just above 10 percent of the $50,000 budget given to you. You can still build a competitive roster with $44,000 remaining for the other eight positions.

Josh Gordon, $6,000

Gordon has been getting more targets and over the last couple of weeks. He recorded two 100-yard games over the last three weeks. While he has just one touchdown over the last four games, he is racking up the PPR points.

Gordon has been dealing with a hamstring issue, he did not appear on the injury report this week and should be ready for a full game’s worth of targets.

Gordon and the New England Patriots face the Tennessee Titans in Week 10. The Titans defense has allowed 226.2 passing yards per game and 11 touchdowns this season. Those numbers will be inflated a bit after this game. Use Gordon without hesitation.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, $5,000

More from FanSided

Valdes-Scantling benefits from his teammates dealing with injuries. Geronimo Allison is recovering from surgery to address a core muscle injury. Randall Cobb is getting up there in age, so his production is inconsistent. After Adams and Jimmy Graham, Valdes-Scantling is next in line.

The Green Bay Packers face a tough Miami Dolphins defense. However, their schedule has been pretty favorable with poor quarterback play. Facing Aaron Rodgers will regulate their numbers.

Valdes-Scantling has recorded at least 12 PPR points in four straight games with either 100 yards or a touchdown in each game. At $5,000, he’s in a good offense to boost his value.

Tre’quan Smith, $4,600

After the signing of Dez Bryant, Smith was likely to see a reduction in performance. However, that didn’t last long as he suffered a torn Achilles. While the New Orleans Saints were interested in Brandon Marshall, nothing has been made official.

Smith has had three straight games of less than 11 points. He had two catches for 23 yards last week but one of those catches was for a touchdown.

Thomas is clearly Drew Brees‘ top target. The other pass catchers are battling each other for that No. 2 spot. Against the Cincinnati Bengals, Smith should break out for a big play or two in this game.

Tyrell Williams, $4,500

The Oakland Raiders defense is horrible. I think every Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver will excel in this game. Williams has four touchdowns in his last three games. He’s pushed Mike Williams down in the depth chart.

Philip Rivers continues to throw the ball a ton, even with Melvin Gordon on the field. That should continue in Week 10.

Williams’ production came down to Earth last week but has caught at least two passes in every game this season. Williams may be a boom or bust option this week, but I’m leaning towards boom against the Raiders.

Maurice Harris, $3,900

Who? Exactly. Harris had his breakout season last week against the Atlanta Falcons. He caught 10 passes on 12 targets for 124 yards. He has 102 yards in his previous four games.

The Washington Redskins offense hasn’t been lighting the world on fire with Alex Smith under center. He’s checking the ball down more, giving Jordan Reed and Chris Thompson more value.

Jamison Crowder has already been ruled out for Week 10. This gives Harris another chance to shine against the terrible Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary. This game could be a sleeper to break  50.5-point line.

These five wide receivers should not be your top option but they can produce like it. The matchups are right and they have good quarterbacks throwing them the ball, yes even Harris. They would be better for GPP plays but if you want to risk it, using them in tournaments could break you away from the pack.
