9. Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz are the only team this season that decided not to upgrade their City Edition uniforms, mainly because last season’s look was an overwhelming success with fans. It’s definitely a creative look, and it definitely shows the spirit of Utah with the red rocks landscape that Utah is so famous for, but the gradient taking up the entire uniform top to bottom is a bit much.
It’s also just odd having those jerseys with a team name like the Jazz, but this team name being in Utah makes no sense anyway so the “rules” don’t apply here. Keep rocking those gradient jerseys Utah, but nothing is better than the purple Jazz throwbacks.
8. Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers were going for the 1984 LA Olympics look, and they pulled it off. These jerseys look like promotional gear for the upcoming 2024 Olympics, and I’m all in for it. They’re a completely different look than what we’re used to seeing from the Clippers, and that’s perfectly okay.
The Clippers inaugural season was in 1984 so there is a connection using the ’84 Olympics as a theme. L.A.’s traditional logo and color combination are incredibly boring and these scream rebranding. If the Clippers want to be the team that the country roots for over the tenants they share Staples Center with this look will do the trick. The “Stars in Motion” LA logo gives it a super retro feel and the stars on the side panels make no sense when talking about the Clippers, but these are jerseys the Dream Team would be proud to wear.
