All eyes will be on the Magic Kingdom as Jimmy Butler will make his Sixers debut against the improving Magic in Central Florida.

Jimmy Butler wanted out of Minnesota. He couldn’t have gone to a better situation than the Philadelphia 76ers.

It cost the Sixers some depth, but, in the end, it was a move that GM Elton Brand felt he had to make to keep Philadelphia in contention. In a press conference at the team’s practice facility in Camden, N.J., Butler said all the right things and seems excited to be joining a Sixer nucleus of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

He’ll make his Sixers debut on the road when the Sixers pay a visit to the Magic Kingdom to face the improving Orlando Magic.

Butler is expected to be the secondary scorer to Embiid, and he has the tools to be just that, averaging 21.3 points per outing, and could take some of the ball-handling pressure off of Simmons.

After starting the season 0-5 on the road, the Sixers have seemingly righted the ship way from the City of Brotherly Love, winning two of their last three road outings, with the latest being a 124-114 victory over the Miami Heat on Monday night.

Embiid was a beast in South Beach, scoring 35 points and grabbing 18 rebounds, which left Sixers coach Brett Brown in awe of his dominance. He’ll be looking for a similar performance against the Magic, who, themselves, have picked up their play after a humiliating loss on their home floor.

Ever since their 120-95 loss to the L.A. Clippers on Nov. 2, Orlando has ripped off a 4-2 stretch, which includes a 3-1 stretch at Amway Center. Nikola Vucevic has returned to form, but the bench has really improved, rallying around Terrance Ross, who hit for 21 and 22 points against the Ne York Knicks and Washington Wizards, respectively.
