Modern Family won’t be airing new episodes until Nov. 28 after its major cliffhanger last episode involving Haley Dunphy.

Spoilers for Modern Family season 10, episode 7 ahead.

The big news to arise last Modern Family is that Haley was told she was pregnant at an emergency room hospital visit. Originally, Haley and Dylan had gone to the carnival and drove around in go-karts when Haley stopped to adjust her lipstick. As a prank Dylan hit her kart causing Haley to push the lipstick up her nose, where it was stuck. They managed to remove it at the hospital but Haley got bigger news than she was ever expecting. She’s pregnant.

Now, it’s not clear if Haley’s child is even Dylan’s as she did have a relationship with Dr. Arvin Fennerman recently. Not to mention, her relationships with Rainer Shine and Andy weren’t that long ago on the series. It hasn’t really been made clear how much of a time jump, if there is one at all, has passed since the other Modern Family seasons. The show has been promoting big twists in its tenth season, most recently teasing a potential affair that didn’t come to pass. Will this latest twist end up being another tease or is Haley really pregnant and the show is going all in on this storyline? The nurse did tell Haley it wasn’t a mistake last episode.

If Haley is indeed pregnant, who is the father? Maury Povich needs to make a guest appearance on the series so fans can get real answers to this mystery. If it is really Dylan, will the pair get married? A kind of swan song if this is truly the last Modern Family season? Will it be Dr. Arvin, throwing a wrench into Haley’s current relationship with Dylan? Would Haley and Dr. Arvin reunite if the child is his? What does Haley think about being a mother is also an important question? Does she even feel ready for such an undertaking?

Answers will start arriving when the series returns with new episodes later this month on Nov. 28!
