Mains Mavericks – Week 11 DraftKings NFL GPP Salary Savers
Mains Mavericks – Week 11 DraftKings NFL GPP Salary Savers
Main’s Mavericks is providing weekly Draftkings NFL DFS GPP contest advice by searching out low-salary, boom-or-bust plays destined to outperform value. As a general rule for this article, I target players below $5,000. My goal is to pick value plays who I believe can exceed 4-5 times their value (EX: $5,000 player x 4 = 20DK Pts). I will be using all of my picks in Week 11 DraftKings NFL GPP tournaments as boom-or-bust punt options. Saving on these volatile players will allow you to pay-up for superstars when building that Week 11 DraftKings NFL $1,000,000 lineup.
Week 11 DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Salary Savers
QB:
Case Keenum 4,800 @ LAC
Keenum will continue to be overlooked due to the departure of his number one wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. Keenum is feisty and wont let the apparent tanking affect his fantasy prowess. Especially against the LA Chargers, who are capable of putting up big numbers. If LAC gets out to a big lead, give me all of those Keenum garbage time touchdowns. Denver might be an unlikely playoff candidate, but I don’t think the Broncos are ready to tank just yet.
RB:
Alex Collins 4,400 vs CIN
This is the easiest play of the week! Cincinnati defense is lost. Hugh Jackson taking over the offense to let Marvin Lewis resurrect the defense does not scare me one bit. Baltimore will run all over the Cincy front 7. I will be massively overweight.
Theo Riddick 4,000 vs CAR
The Detroit Lions are a total dumpster fire. The offensive line is the Red Sea, the Wide Receivers cannot get open, and Matthew Stafford‘s QB vision is taking more hits than he is. That being said, Theo Riddick will play slot and he may be the best WR on that team (and he runs short routes for Stafford’s safety).
WR:
Cole Beasley 4,400 @ ATL
Beasley is not the sexiest pick, but this is a tremendous match-up. Atlanta struggle against slot WRs and Dak cannot get the ball to any WR lined up outside the hashes. That being said, I see this game going over the 48 points that Vegas has it at. Atlanta’s defense is bad, and their defense is capable of putting up points in a hurry. The Dallas D is good, but they are playing on short rest. ATL will have to try to figure out a way to stop Zeke, and Beasley will be the beneficiary.

Curtis Samuel 3,700 @ DET
I really went in on the Detroit offense earlier. But I was doing a disservice to Detroit by not mentioning how bad that defense looked Sunday. The Bears were able to do whatever they wanted on offense, scoring touchdowns on their first 4 possessions. Even if Darius Slay is back Sunday, the Panther wide receiving corp is a solid option in a tasty match-up.
TE:
Jeff Heuerman 3,700 vs HOU
I have been playing Heuerman at the near-minimum price and it has been working out for me. I will continue to roll with the veteran. 16 targets turned in to 2TDs over his last 2 games. A Jake Butt injury and the recent D-Thom trade puts Heuerman in an ideal spot. Look for the veteran TE to continue to be involved in the Denver offensive scheme, and Case Keenum’s favorite red-zone target.
