College Gameday will head to the sunshine state for an American Athletic Conference game between Central Florida and Cincinnati. UCF will look to extend their 22-game winning streak and clinch a spot in the AAC Championship game with a victory over the Bearcats.

Cincinnati will enter the game with a 9-1 record, with their only loss coming by a touchdown against Temple. The Bearcats are led by their defense and have held opponents to 277 yards per game, which ranks sixth in the country. For Cincinnati to pull off the upset, they will have to slow down the high-octane UCF offense, which has averaged 543 yards per game.

Offensively, the Bearcats will need to control the clock with their rushing attack, which has been their game plan all season. If they play well enough offensively to give their defense a breather, they should be fresh enough to pose a challenge down the stretch.

UCF is led by quarterback McKenzie Milton, who has racked up 2309 yards passing and 21 touchdowns but also leads the Knights with eight rushing touchdowns. That said, no matter how hot Milton may get, UCF will look to attack the Bearcats with their up-tempo rushing attack, which is led by a committee of backs.

To date, UCF has two running backs with over 500 yards and six players with over 200 yards rushing. Needless to say, the Knights won’t need to slow their tempo and have the depth to stay fresh for 60 minutes. If they can continue to dominate up-front and rush at will, they will have no problem clinching the division.

The Knights opened up as a 10-point favorite and beat the Bearcats by 28-points last season, but don’t expect such a lopsided affair. UCF will win the game, but not in the dominant fashion needed to impress the College Football Playoff Committee.
