DraftKings CFB picks November 15: Ride Devin Singletary
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings CFB picks November 15: Ride Devin Singletary. FAU will.
I am back on dry land, which means back to the DraftKings grind. I missed the DraftKings MACtion last night, but tonight we get some high powered offenses and some tricky defenses. Where should we build?

The week on international waters kept me off of DraftKings and out of your lives, but I am back for this week’s fun. Expect this until the end of the season, then I’ll find another season to bring you!
The scoring for NCAA football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap! There is also late swap, which is essential for contests with start times spanning several hours.

DraftKings College Football Picks November 15
Top Tier:
There are two top quarterbacks begging us to play them here. D’Eriq King just keeps getting better with the exception of the SMU game. King has his two highest DraftKings outputs of the season in the last three weeks. Even though the Tulane defense has been tough at times, I think they are still going to have enough trouble with King to make him worth using.
Mason Fine has dropped off significantly in the past six weeks or so, as have the Mean Green as a whole. The FAU defense is getting better, and though this may be the best QB they have faced in some time, if I’m paying this much for a quarterback, I am making the extra effort to find the $700 for King. There is far more upside there than with Fine. On Fine’s best day he wont hit 40 DraftKings points. King has done that in seven of his ten games this year.
Middle Tier:
LSU transfer Justin McMillan lit up East Carolina last week, and could do the same to Houston this week. Houston’s pass defense has been awful over the last month. Ed Oliver is going to wreak havoc, but on plays that he doesn’t, the Houston secondary probably couldn’t cover my sisters and me in pass routes right now. I like the upside on McMillan if you aren’t willing to pay for King.
Kent’s defense leaves a whole lot to be desired. Eli Peters finds himself the starter now, and stands to have the best game of his young career here. Of course, 20 DraftKings points would do that so it isn’t like Peters is going to put up massive numbers for the price. However, if you are looking for a super flex option in this price range, I would take Peters over a RB or WR.
Bargain Shoppers:
I do like Woody Barrett. He was cruising prior to being destroyed by Buffalo last week. Only Penn State and Buffalo have held Barrett under 16 DraftKings points. Toledo wont do that either, so I really like Barrett as a bargain super flex play.
I don’t care how cheap they are, avoid the FAU quarterback roulette wheel at all costs. Both Robison and Johnson will play, and both are more likely to destroy your lineup that give you the 20 points you would need to really take the field by surprise.

Top Tier:
Devin Singletary is one of the best backs in the country, and I’m glad we finally get to use him on DraftKings in a favorable matchup. North Texas is decent against the run, but decent wont stop Singletary. He has 503 rushing yards and six touchdowns over the last three games. I trust Singletary more than any other player tonight.
Middle Tier:
As I mentioned before, Houston’s defense leaves a lot to be desired. Darius Bradwell is a strong mid range option for Tulane, but he isn’t really the game breaker that Deandre Torrey is. The FAU defense is better lately, but Torrey has racked up 275 rushing yards and five touchdowns over the last two games. Bradwell is better for cash games, but for GPP, I’m leaning towards Torrey.
The advantage to FAU’s quarterbacks being so horrid is that there are a ton of carries to go around. Kerrith Whyte has taken full advantage of that, and has even outrushed Singletary a couple of times this year. You can use both FAU running backs if you choose because the Owls are going to run the ball upwards of 50 times.
Bargain Shoppers:
Corey Dauphine is still listed as a co starter on Tulane’s depth chart. While Dauphine has the game breaking speed that Bradwell doesn’t, he also carries a healthy amount of risk if the Tulane front can’t keep Houston out of the backfield. Dauphine needs space to succeed, and he may not get it here.
I do like Justin Rankin, but only if he is fully healthy. He still wasn’t last week, and if Kent falls behind big early (again), I do have a feeling that Rankin’s carries will suffer yet again.

Top Tier:
Rico Bussey has at least 25 DraftKings points in three straight games, and the FAU defense won’t be able to do much to stop it. If you still have money after going wild on running backs, I’m big on Bussey again.

Middle Tier:
Marquez Stevenson is the Houston receiver you really want, but Keith Corbin had a better game last week, and could again if Tulane elects to try and double Stevenson. Tulane doesn’t have the defense of Temple, but that doesn’t mean they wont try to use their schemes.
Cody Thompson has double digit DraftKings points in five straight games. He will make it six against the awful Kent secondary, and looks super cheap to me.
Darnell Mooney was an absolute monster last week, and likely will be again against this porous Houston secondary. Terren Encelade is the big play guy, but he has been targeted three times or less in each of the last three games. He has still produced, but that may not be a given every time around.
Bargain Shoppers:
Bryson Smith was the only Houston receiver that got loose against Temple, and I really like him at this price point tonight. I’m not saying that Smith does what he did last week, but I expect his targets to increase since he was the only one bailing King out last week.
Woody needs someone to throw to. More often than not, that someone is Antwan Dixon. Of the three Kent receivers, he is the only one I really trust.
