5 NFL coaches who need to win in Week 11
By Dylan Broady
4. Jason Garrett
It has been rumored for some time that Jason Garrett could actually get fired. Jerry Jones will have to figure out what is more important, winning or loyalty. That seems to be a hard decision for him to make. Imagine if this team had better leadership at its disposal.
Garrett is 70-59 since taking over as head coach in 2011. With only one playoff win to his name, you’d think at some point Jones has to make the decision for change. Can Garrett really take this team to a Super Bowl? We can all point to the “non catch” Dez Bryant had against the Green Bay Packers and say if the call would’ve gone the opposite way we might be talking about Garrett as a Super Bowl winning coach.
Week 11 Garrett needs to make the most of the opportunity to start stacking important November wins. The Cowboys haven’t beat the Falcons in Atlanta since the 2006 season. If Garrett wants to hold on to the favor he has with his owner, he has to win this game and prove he can lead this team in more than one important victory this season.
