It’s Week 11 and we have six teams on a bye so some Fantasy Football start and sit decisions are going to be made for you just by who’s available but we’ll discuss many options!

If you played Davante Adams or Aaron Jones Thursday night, you’re off and running with a great Fantasy Football head start. It’s that time of the week to figure out some options to start and players that could lay an egg in your lineup. Let’s jump into it and see who we like!

Fantasy Football – Quarterback

Start Eli Manning, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If there was ever a time that we could feel relatively comfortable starting Manning, this has to be it. They can’t stop pass catching running backs, having allowed six touchdowns through the air to running backs. Saquon Barkley is in the discussion for the best receiving back in the league. They can’t stop number one receivers or slot players and the Giants just happen to have Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard. On top of that, Tampa is the second worst team in football against tight ends and the Giants have Evan Engram. Lastly, the Bucs are allowing 291 passing yards per game and the most touchdowns in football. Every single factor points to Manning having a good game by default, even if he just let’s everyone else do the work. He’s a solid start this week in seasonal and DFS.

Also Consider Starting – Dak Prescottat Atlanta Falcons – Marcus Mariotaat Indianapolis Colts

Sit Kirk Cousins, at Chicago Bears

I might be more willing to take a shot at Cousins if the Vikings were at home instead of in Chicago in the elements but Cousins has had a very weird season. Seven of his nine games have seen him throw two touchdowns or fewer and the Bears have forced 16 interceptions so far. It seems like many regard Cousins as an every. week starter no matter what and perhaps that’s due to the success of receivers Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Still, Cousins sits 14th among quarterbacks and is actually 15th in points per game. I’m not going to start him on the road in a bad matchup if you can avoid it.

Also Consider Starting – Ryan Fitzpatrickat New York Giants

Fantasy Football – Running Back

Start Alex Collins, vs Cincinnati Bengals

I wonder if people get a little scared off of Collins in this game since we really don’t know who the quarterback is. Joe Flacco is listed as doubtful so it would seem it won’t be him. That means either Robert Griffin III or rookie Lamar Jackson is going to be under center and either way, those players both bring a rushing threat to the lineup with them. The Bengals have been gouged on the ground in a major way, giving up the second most rushing yards per game. They’re basically tied for the worst spot and have given up the fourth most rushing touchdowns. Even though Collins hasn’t done a lot for your fantasy team in the past two weeks, he has found the end zone. The game scripts haven’t gone his way lately either and that should change since the Bengals are still missing receiver A.J. Green.

Also Consider  Starting – Mark Ingramvs Philadelphia Eagles – Doug Martinat Arizona Cardinals

Sit Marlon Mack, vs Tennessee Titans

I don’t think Mack isn’t a very talented back in a great offense but the Titans have been so good against running backs for such a long period of time, I’d really rather not put Mack in my lineup provided I had viable alternatives. Not only has Tennessee allowed the 10th fewest rushing yards per game, they’ve given up a grand total of three touchdowns to the position. Mack is only seeing a small amount of targets so even that isn’t something you can truly fall back on. Given what seems like a very limited touchdown equity and little upside in rushing yards, it seems like a good spot to leave Mack on the bench.

Also Consider Sitting – Adrian Petersonvs Houston Texans – Lamar Millerat Washington Redskins

Fantasy Football – Wide Receiver

Start Golden Tate, at New Orleans Saints

Tate owners might still be feeling the sting from last week since Tate killed them last week and was basically totally un-involved offensively. Coach Doug Pederson is already talking him up this week, saying he’s going to be more involved in the passing game. Before anyone chimes in and says he has to be more involved than 18 snaps, it was potentially a great sign to see him draw four targets on such limited plays. That just means quarterback Carson Wentz was looking for him often when he was on the field. If we get a lot more snaps, there’s some outside potential to see double-digit targets in this spot. He will likely see a lot P.J. Williams from the slot and Williams has struggled at various points of the season. Carson Wentz should have to throw over 40 times and Tate should be able to find plenty of looks.

Also Consider Starting – Larry Fitzgeraldvs Oakland Raiders, Anthony Millervs Minnesota Vikings

Sit John Brown, vs Cincinnati Bengals

Whenever I say to sit a player like Brown, it’s a little scary. Literally one big play can make this call look utterly foolish but I can’t trust him in this game. He’s not only fallen to third in the pecking order as far as targets go, now we have no idea who the quarterback is. It’s really a shame too because the Bengals have allowed 38 plays of 20+ yards so they’ve gotten hit hard by deep plays. Brown is just ice-cold with 28 yards or less in three of his last four games and just one touchdown. Fantasy is all about playing the percentages and the odds are against “Smoke” in this game.

Also Consider Sitting – Tyler Boydat Baltimore Ravens – Courtland Suttonat Los Angeles Chargers

Fantasy Football – Tight End

Start Vance McDonald, at Jacksonville Jaguars

I’ve been on the Steelers offense basically the entire week and I’m not going to stop at McDonald either. This is a game that could see the receivers limited just a little bit. Do I expect the Jaguars secondary to totally shut down the receivers of Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster?

More from FanSided

Not really but if they slow them down, McDonald could take on a much larger role than normal. It’s not a totally apples to apples comparison but last season saw McDonald scorch the Jaguars for 10 receptions and 112 yards. The Jaguars are giving up the 10th most fantasy points to the position and McDonald should be a very solid option this week.

Also Consider Starting – Ricky Seals-Jonesvs Oakland Raiders

To say it’s difficult to find a tight end that you could potential start but shouldn’t is an understatement. Odds are, if you have one you could start this week you’re going to do so. There’s players I’m not comfortable with like Jared Cook because he’s on a bad offense but his target share is so massive that you can’t pass it up.

Eric Ebron continues to defy expectations as far as routes run and touchdown rate. I’d say to sit him and then he would score another two touchdowns and make me look like a dummy. The position continues to be a total dart throw and you’re just chasing a touchdown every single week.
