Lee Corso will make his next headgear pick on the Saturday, Nov. 17 edition of College GameDay. Will it be Central Florida or Cincinnati?
Another weekend of college football means the latest edition of College GameDay on Saturday, Nov. 17, with Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, Maria Taylor and others prepared to break down the day’s slate of games.
With an unremarkable schedule on tap, GameDay will head to Central Florida’s campus for their game against Cincinnati. It’s a battle of ranked teams at No. 11 and 24, respectively, and this regular season game is arguably one of the biggest in program history, especially with a national presence on-hand to bring it attention.
To close each show, Corso performs his headgear pick. Always the most dramatic part, it features the ex-football coach donning the mascot headgear, or an applicable prop, to signify which of the on-site teams he chooses.
For Saturday, it’s UCF vs. Cincinnati. Not the usual Power Five matchup, but intriguing nonetheless. Will he make the easy call and pick the home team?
UCF enters this game 9-0. They own a rare perfect record this late in the season, but since they don’t play in the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 or SEC, the College Football Playoff rankings have them at No. 11. Still, a spot in the top 12 does them justice, but there are two-loss teams ahead of them.
Barring a miracle, UCF will remain out of the top four. They have a chance at a New Year’s Six Bowl, however, which moves one step closer to happening with a win over Cincinnati. A loss likely deters it.
Not surprisingly, Corso rolled with the Knights. More surprisingly, he dawned the full mascot suit.

Will the Knights continue their in-season dominance and win again? They have not lost since 2016.
