Stick’s Picks – Week 11 NFL DFS GPP Targets (Main Slate)

After consecutive, monster weekends in NFL GPP tournaments, I’ll be rather brief in this week’s article for the Week 11 NFL DFS GPP Targets. This week, I’m going to really narrow down my player selection pool and continue to play multiple entries, just with a lot more of the same “core” players in each lineup.

This is a somewhat riskier approach to the main slate on FantasyDraft, but I feel like it’s time to take a shot. Let’s get right to it with the FantasyDraft Week 11 DFS GPP Targets (Main Slate).

For Week 11, there are really just three games that I’m very interested in building my rosters around:

The majority of my players will be from those games listed above, but I’ll certainly include a few one-off plays in other games to diversify my roster exposures.

Be sure to follow me on Twitter @sticks022 and @FantasyCPR for more fantasy football information. Thank you for reading and best of luck this week!

Week 11 NFL DFS GPP Quarterbacks:

Drew Brees ($13,200)

This game is going to be a shootout, and Philadelphia’s pass defense is insanely beat up right now (they were never impressive to begin with). He’s the most expensive QB on the slate, but almost $1k less than where we usually see Patrick Mahomes listed at… Brees is very affordable.

My only concern is that the Saints get an early lead and don’t need to rely on Brees airing it out for four quarters to win this game. I do think Philadelphia keeps this one close, but I won’t have Brees in any more than 40% of my GPP rosters.

Carson Wentz ($12,000)

On the other side of Brees, you have to give Carson Wentz serious consideration. If this game-script goes like Vegas thinks, the Eagles are going to be behind and forced to throw early and often.

Nothing about the Saints’ pass defense scares me, and if Wentz is going to have 40+ pass attempts, he could very well be the QB1 in fantasy this week. He will be my first choice for my GPP and cash games this weekend.

Brees and Wentz may be chalky, but if you don’t get exposure to this game, you’re going to have a hard time finding the pay lines in your GPP’s.

Andrew Luck ($11,000)

Andrew Luck at home in a game with a 50+ point total. Need I say more? I’m not hearing a lot of people in the industry talk about Andrew Luck this week, so we may get a 10% ownership tag on Luck this week.

Yes, the Titans shut down Tom Brady and company last week, but they will not shut down Andrew Luck and the Colts’ passing attack. Luck is averaging 23.88 FantasyDraft points per week, so even if he doesn’t smash this week, his floor is plenty high to keep your lineup in contention.

Honorable Mention:

Ryan Fitzpatrick ($11,900)

DeShaun Watson ($11,200)

Marcus Mariota ($10,900)

Week 11 NFL DFS GPP Running Backs:

Ezekiel Elliot ($17,600)

This one is easy. If Cowboys’ lineman, Zack Martin plays, lock in Zeke to 75% of your GPP lineups. I’ll be a full fade on Zeke if for some reason Martin doesn’t play – which may be a mistake, but a risk I’m more than happy to take.

Saquon Barkley ($16,700)

I love getting exposure to this Bucs/Giants game, and Saquon will be a main focus in that. His lack of yards running the ball is a little concerning, but he’s so active in the passing game and he possesses game-breaking ability. He won’t be low-owned by any means, but he’s a great play in GPP formats this week.

Melvin Gordon ($16,400)

Not sure why Melvin is $1,200 less than Zeke, but I like it. Gordon is a great play this week (as he is every week) as the Chargers are a 7-point favorite at home against the Broncos. Expect a lot of touches for Melvin on Sunday.

Do I hear a little Melvin Gordon/Courtland Sutton mini-stack?

Alvin Kamara ($15,700)

Kamara’s price this week on FantasyDraft is a sin. Lock him in.

James Conner ($14,100)

We’re going to have to be contrarian somewhere and James Conner offers us the ability to do just that. People in the DFS community still run away from match-ups against the Jaguars for some reason. The Jags’ D is simply not what it was last year.

I’m projecting for Conner to come in under 10% ownership in Week 11. The guy gets 20+ touches a game… if ownership is in fact going to be that low, Conner could be a big factor in GPP winning lineups this week.

Honorable Mention:

Tevin Coleman ($10,000)

Dion Lewis ($9,800)

Alex Collins ($8,700)

Peyton Barber ($7,800)

Josh Adams ($6,400)

Week 11 NFL DFS GPP Wide Receivers:

There are so many great wide receivers plays on the main slate at FanasyDraft for Week 11. I’ll just list the ones I’ll be playing below. Also, FADE Tyler Boyd again this week. I wish I would have been more vocal about that in my write up last weekend to save some of the readers from rostering him.

All in all, Boyd is going to see tons of double coverage/safety help while A.J. Green is out of the lineup. Boyd does incredibly well when A.J. is the #1 priority of the opposing defense…without A.J. Boyd is not in play for tournaments. You obviously can’t bench him in season-long, but stay away from him in DFS until further notice.

Michael Thomas ($16,600) – absolute wonderful matchup on paper. If this game gets out of hand, he may not go for 20+ FantasyDraft points, but I project this game to be close, and that should play well for Thomas.

Odell Beckham Jr. ($16,000) – my #1 WR play on the board this week. This game will shootout, and there is no one on the Bucs’ defense that can contain Odell. Get lots of Odell!

Julio Jones ($15,600) – touchdowns in back-to-back weeks?! I’ll keep riding the Julio train, especially when he’s at home in the dome. He should be rather low-owned in comparison to what we’re used to with Julio.

DeAndre Hopkins ($14,900) – I would assume Josh Norman shadows D-Hop for most of the game on Sunday… that alone is going to scare DFS players. Hopkins is matchup proof and has plenty of upside to burn Norman on a consistent basis in this game. Hopkins will be ~10% ownership in Week 11.

Mike Evans ($13,700) – Evans is coming off of two brutal fantasy performances and DFS players are aware of that. I’m confident this is a “get-right” game for Evans and the Bucs’ passing attack. Janoris Jenkins simply cannot contain Mike Evans. I have him projected for 6 catches, 115 yards, and a touchdown. I wouldn’t be surprised if Evans scores more than once.

Stefon Diggs ($13,100) – it was very tough to leave Thielen out of this write-up, but I strongly believe Diggs is the play for the Vikings in Week 11. If you watch this guy run routes, he usually gets open twice, lol. He is an excellent route runner and should be able to burn whatever Bears’ cornerback he lines up against.

T.Y. Hilton ($11,400) – I love Andrew Luck, and I love pairing him with Hilton this week.

Courtland Sutton ($9,900) – Sutton was the absolute chalk two weeks ago, and no one is talking about him this week. His size and ability alone is enough for me to take a few shots on him in GPP’s. Assuming the Chargers take an early lead in this one, the Broncos should turn to a pass-heavy offense. Sutton should get 7+ targets and hopefully turn one or two of those into big plays.

Honorable Mention:

Adam Thielen ($16,600)

Antonio Brown ($14,600)

Emmanuel Sanders ($11,600)

Amari Cooper ($11,300)

Corey Davis ($10,600)

Golden Tate ($10,400)

Seth Roberts ($6,000)

Week 11 NFL DFS GPP Tight Ends:

Zach Ertz ($13,900)

He is expensive, and for good reason. Ertz is an absolute target monster and will be heavily targeted again in this shootout against the Saints. He is easily the #1 TE play on the board, but I’ll only have a few shares of him in GPP’s as I rarely can afford his high price tag when building lineups.

More from FanSided

O.J. Howard ($9,200)

O.J. didn’t do much last week and hopefully that lowers his ownership in Week 11. As I’ve mentioned, this Bucs/Giants game is a great game to stack for your GPP’s, so get a lot of exposure to O.J. Howard in Week 11.

Evan Engram ($8,100)

Similar to Howard, Engram is a nice pivot for lower ownership in this Bucs/Giants matchup. I don’t love his upside, but if he finds a way into the end-zone, he’ll finish with 14+ FantasyDraft points.

Jordan Reed ($7,400)

Houston is awful against the tight end and the Redskins offensive line is severely beat up. Expect a lot of quick passes to go towards Jordan Reed and pray he breaks one for a big play.

Honorable Mention:

Trey Burton ($9,400)

Jared Cook ($7,700)

I’m not going to get into big detail about the defenses as I usually just play whatever fits (obviously, find a team with sacks/turnover upside, etc.) with the amount of salary I have left.

RB: Saquon Barkley

RB: James Conner
