Celtics at Hornets live stream: How to watch online
By Kareem Gantt
The Celtics are having an up-and-down season so far, and their lives won’t get any better on Monday when they travel to Charlotte to face the Hornets.
No one would have ever expected the Boston Celtics to be just 9-7 right now.
But, that’s exactly where they are as they try to fix the problems ailing their roster. The Celtics will try to get back on track on Monday when they face Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets, another team that doesn’t know what to make of itself.
After a trip to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals last season, the Celtics were pegged as one of the favorites in an Eastern Conference without LeBron James. With Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward back, it looked as if the Celtics would be the team to beat, but some personal issues and poor play on the road has landed them here.
Boston is coming off of a three-game homestand in which they went 2-1, with their last game being a listless loss to the Utah Jazz, 98-86. Irving poured in 20 points, but bad ball movement doomed them from the start, and they never really recovered.
Now, head coach Brad Stevens will have to figure out how to light a fire under this team as they trek to the Queen City and square off with the Hornets.

Charlotte is coming off of a heartbreaking 122-119 overtime loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite Kemba Walker scoring 60 points, Jimmy Butler hit the game-winning three-pointer that sent the Hornets under .500. Charlotte is in the middle of a three-game homestand that will come to a close on Nov. 21, when the Indiana Pacers come to town.
Some of the same problems that have plagued the Celtics have long vexed the Hornets, as they deal with a roster that doesn’t quite fit together and try to mold it into a winning unit.
