The Los Angeles Clippers look to extend their season-high winning streak as their road trip takes them to Atlanta to face the ailing Hawks.

The Los Angeles Clippers are streaking in the right direction, and they’ll have a chance to continue their winning ways as they pay a visit to the ailing Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

After dropping a 116-105 decision to the Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 8, the Clippers have embarked on a four-game winning streak. Their fourth in a row came at the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday as Danilo Gallinari pumped in 28 points, and Montrezl Harrell snagged 10 rebounds to rally past the Nets 127-118.

Their game against the Nets opened up a three-game East Coast trip for the Clippers, who are 3-4 away from Southern California. After their game in Atlanta, the Clippers will wrap up the road trip at Washington before returning to the West Coast.

The Clippers start to the season has been surprising, as before the regular season kicked off, no one really knew what to make of this Clippers team, their first without Blake Griffin. So far, L.A. is getting contributions up and down the lineup, and head coach Doc Rivers has helped gel the team together in order to counter the superstar-laden teams that scatter the Western Conference.

While the Clippers are shocking the NBA with their 10-5 start, the Hawks are right on cue with their 3-13 record.

It was always going to be a long season in Atlanta as the team looks to rebuild around Trae Young. The Hawks have taken some baby steps toward respectability, but the wins just haven’t come along with that progress.
