Fantasy Basketball: NBA Draftkings Lock Plays 11/20
By Shaun Evans
Welcome to another “Lock Play” article, NBA Edition! It’s Tuesday and we have a short, 4 game NBA DraftKings slate so lets dive in to it! Good luck and cash out!
NBA DraftKings Point Guard
Lou Williams vs. Washington Wizards | Points Total: 230
Salary: $6,200
One of my favorite NBA DraftKings guys to roster, Lou Williams has a great match-up tonight versus the failing Washington Wizards. The Wizards have been having a horrible season and have made it known that John Wall and Bradley Beal are available for the right pieces. So lets exploit them while we can. This game has a point total of 230, with both teams having a pace of 107 possessions per game. The Wizards are giving up 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assist to the point guard position. On the season, Lou Williams is averaging 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assist on the season while averaging 29 fantasy points per game. He has been averaging close to 30 minutes the past five games, scoring 33.25, 36.25, 40, 29.25, and 25.75 fantasy points in his past five games. Providing his salary price and his match-up, Lou Williams is a lock.
NBA DraftKings Shooting Guard
D’Angelo Russell vs. Miami Heat | Points Total: 216
Salary: $7,300
Now going in to this game, it is the lowest point total of the night but D’Angelo Russell has a good match-up during a pretty strong season so far. Averaging 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assist on the season, he is averaging 32 fantasy points per game. In his last five games he has scored 27.75, 49.5, 23.75, 38.25, and 51.25 fantasy points. Possessions per game wise, Brooklyn is averaging 103 possessions and Miami is averaging 105 possessions. Miami is allowing 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assist to the shooting guard position. Russell started out the season only playing around 25 minutes but has seen close to 30 plus minutes in past four games besides once. With the usage there, Russell is in a good spot tonight.
NBA DraftKings Small Forward
Tobias Harris vs. Washington Wizards | Points Total: 230
Salary: $7,300
Attacking the Washington Wizards once again, Tobias Harris is another lock. Last time we featured him in this article, he was a last minute scratch due to an illness so lets hope that doesn’t happen again. Averaging 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assist on the season with an average of 37 fantasy points per game. In his last five games Harris has scored 35.75, 41.75, 38, 37.5, and 41 fantasy points. The Wizards don’t struggle poorly against the small forward position but they do allow 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assist. With the highest points total of the night, this is the game to look to stack.

NBA DraftKings Power Forward
Al-Farouq Aminu vs. New York Knicks | Points Total: 221.5
Salary: $4,700
With a short slate, some digging is required and Aminu is here with the value. Coming in at $4,700 and against the New York Knicks who rank 29th against the Power Forward position, allowing 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assist. With a point total of 221.5 for the game, both teams have a pace of 104 possessions per game. Aminu is almost averaging a double-double, on the lower end, with 8 points and 8 rebounds with a below one assist per game. In his last five games he has scored 26, 27.75, 30.75, 20.5, and 23 fantasy points, barely hitting value. Aminu has his ups and downs but expect him to have a good opportunity to hit value, plus more.
NBA DraftKings Center
Montrezl Harrell vs. Washington Wizards | Points Total: 230
Salary: $6,600
Another player from the game to stack, Montrezl Harrell is in play also. With Hassan Whiteside also on the slate, you can go either way. Harrell is averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds per game while the Wizards are allowing Centers to average 23 point, 17 rebounds making Harrell spot picture perfect. With the possessions already being mention, we know what to expect from both teams, making this game a high scoring one most likely. With Marcin Gortat being Harrell’s backup, you don’t have to worry about him taking up the usage. Harrell has scored 37, 39.25, 43.5, 32, and 33.5 fantasy points in his last five games so expect for him to find his value easily tonight.
