We have an odd week with Thanksgiving just a few days away. DraftKings changes things up a bit on slates such as these with just one game on hand. It makes it very difficult to differentiate from the field, but is still worth a shot! Scoring changes as well with inflated point totals, including eight points for a goal and five for an assist. Although it is minuscule, these games give you 0.2 points for face offs won. We’ll keep this short for you today folks. Best of luck, and have some fun!
Also a side note! If you enjoy reading our stuff here on FantasyCPR, we now offer swag! There is some pretty cool options that I’ll likely be buying. Feel free to show your fandom for our site. Would love to start seeing it around!
NHL DFS Flex Options
Connor McDavid Oilers ($12,300)
Tonight is not the night to fade one of the top three players in the entire league. He is a point machine and provides the best opportunity to take on the field. He should be chalky, but it is too big a risk to leave him out, even at his price. Even with a tough match up, it will be hard to keep McDavid off the board. He is averaging 17.3 FPPG in this type of format which exceeds the rest of the options by almost two full points. With 28 points through 20 games, McDavid is on his way to another potential 100-point season.
Leon Draisaitl Oilers ($10,300)
The Oilers are not favored to win this game which is one way to be different with limited options. McDavid and Draisaitl together have been fantastic, even as the Oilers have sputtered. He is looking to build on a three game point streak where he has six points on two goals and four assists.

Logan Couture Sharks ($9,300)
The other option for tonight is to stack Sharks. Let’s start with top line center Logan Couture. He has six goals and 14 assists and has 94 face off wins. He comes in at a cheaper price compared to his line mates, but we need to save somewhere. Couture has great possession numbers on the season with a CF% of 52.2 and a FF% of 51.8.
Evander Kane Sharks ($9,700)
Kane has been a great spark for the Sharks this year. We have witnessed his relentless ability to get to the net and explode on the scorecard. We go into the night seeking this type of offensive excitement. Kane has seven goals and eight assists. Last game against the Blues, he had a goal and an assist on four shots and four hits. This is a night where extra energy pays off, ripping off shots and getting hits.
Joonas Donskoi Sharks ($3,700)
Donskoi is my value play for the night. He has meshed pretty well with Kane. The 26-year-old Finnish-born Donskoi became a fan favorite in San Jose last year and is doing his best to build on his breakout into the league. He may only have four goals and six assists on the season, but again we are looking for value here. We saw what Donskoi is capable of last year, which is why he still gets a run on the teams second power play unit.
Martin Jones Sharks ($8,200)
If you are going the goalie route tonight, than Jones should be your guy. The risk here is it is a 50/50 shot. Can we trust a 9-5-1 goalie to earn us a win as the heavy favorites. Or will they fall like other heavy favorites have earlier in the season. It is not one of my favorite plays personally, but if you like the idea of fitting a goalie, Jones should be your guy.
Erik Karlsson Sharks ($8,800)
It may feel strange fading Brent Burns for Karlsson. The only reason I like this play is because Karlsson has proven time and again that he is an elite offensive-defenseman. He has not proven that yet this season with his new team with just one goal and 11 assists. Karlsson does seem to be heating up though with points in his last three games. It is not a bad idea to stick (pun intended) Karlsson into your stack.
