It’s the Thanksgiving season and, in the spirit of the holiday, college football fans have plenty to be thankful for.

Thanksgiving happens to coincide with the beginning of the final full week of the 2018 college football regular season this year. On a day that’s intended for people to celebrate the things in life that they’re thankful for, the college football season coming to a close is a bittersweet addition to the mix. At the same time, however, it’s also fitting in a way.

With the 2018 regular season wrapping up and only conference championship games, Army-Navy and bowl games left after this week and the Thanksgiving weekend, we now have a full season worth of action on the gridiron to look back on and assess. And in that assessment, we can surely get in the spirit of the holiday season and be thankful for many of the things that have transpired.

To be sure, there are certainly many college football fans throughout the country that are not really in a thankful mood given what’s transpired in the 2018 season. Fans in the ACC — aside from those supporting the Clemson Tigers — are almost certainly lamenting everything that’s happened to this point in the year. The same too can be said of Pac-12 fans, in addition to fans of the bottom-dwellers like Rutgers.

Even still, this has been a wildly entertaining season that’s about to wrap up on Thanksgiving weekend and there are surely things that every college football fan can be thankful for at this time of year. And, in that spirit, we’re going to go through 10 of the most notable things that fit that bill.
