DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks November 21

We have a big week for DraftKings EuroLeague this week with two rounds, which means four days of games instead of two! We move on to Wednesday where all of the big time guards are in action. We really have to play matchups here.

More from DFS

Yesterday I placed both of my lineups, with one finishing in sixth place thanks to Simon, Micic, and Lucic. Campazzo wasn’t as much value as I was looking for, but I’ll take it!

The winning lineup was at 154.75 DraftKings points, which was 14 ahead of my best finish. He got huge value on no ownership on Zach Leday. He also got more than 30 DraftKings points out of Rudy Fernandez and Anthony Randolph which allowed him to survive below average days from Sloukas and Fabien Causeur.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 19: Alexey Shved #1 of the New York Knicks drives against Chase Budinger #10 of the Minnesota Timberwolves during their game at Madison Square Garden on March 19, 2015 in New York City. Guards:

Alexey Shved is officially listed as questionable, but Khimki could elect to hold him out in a game that they should win against Podgorica to make sure they have him for Friday. That said, Shved is averaging 44.2 DraftKings points per round through seven rounds. If he’s healthy, we almost have to play him. If not, Dee Bost looks like a great play.

If Shved is out, it gets kind of dicey. Mike James had a nice week last week, but has a tougher matchup with Baskonia. Calathes is in the same boat with a very tough matchup against Barcelona. If Shved is out, I’m moving down to Nate Wolters. He has a dream matchup against CSKA, and I still don’t trust trying to sort out all three CSKA guards that see significant minutes. If you are going to roll it back with a CSKA guard against Zalgiris, Cory Higgins is likely the best option, but Sergio Rodriguez has the best upside.

This is a good matchup for Barcelona, but I don’t really trust either starting guard. If pressed, Kevin Pangos is finally starting to come around and would be the one I go with.

Jayson Granger is out, which should mean more run for Matt Janning. Janning has been putting up decent numbers anyway, but his 3-20 mark from the floor over the last two rounds is really hurting the production. It was Marcelino Huertas who came up big last week, so I’m siding with him again until Janning gets back on track.

The absence of Nemanja Nedovic leaves Dairis Bertans as a strong value play once again. I would rather play him at half the price of Mike James.

Edwin Jackson abused Baskonia last week in what looked like a tough matchup on paper as well. He is worth a look as a value play against Khimki, especially is Shved misses this game.

If Thomas Walkup gets the start for Zalgiris again, play him. Walkup has at least 20 DraftKings points in both starts this year. He is still fighting Arturas Milaknis for minutes though.

DAYTON, OH – MARCH 24: Will Clyburn #21 of the Iowa State Cyclones handles the ball against Deshaun Thomas #1 of the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first half during the third round of the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at UD Arena on March 24, 2013 in Dayton, Ohio. Forwards:

Vladimir Micov is the top play up front if you can afford him. Micov has 96 DraftKings points over the last three rounds, and could be in for an even bigger game if Shved is held out. Will Clyburn is a solid fade option for Micov, but he has a lower floor and can’t really match the upside.

More from FanSided

Ante Tomic has at least 24 DraftKings points in each of the last six rounds, and some of those have been tougher matchups. I see no reason to let Olympiacos to scare us off. Tornike Shengelia has at least 24 DraftKings points in all but one game as well.

Brandon Davies has at least 20 DraftKings points in each of the last six rounds. He has an outstanding matchup with CSKA this round, so he should have no problems making it seven.

Alen Omic is a prime bounce back candidate after a miserable round 7 last week against the strong Baskonia front. He should have a much easier time with Khimki. Earl Clark is a strong play as well.

James Gist has been playing strong for Athens lately, and has a pretty good matchup against Barcelona. I prefer him over Papapetrou or Othello Hunter. I much prefer Alec Peters if using a CSKA big.

Paulius Jankunas is out again, so this is another smash spot for Aaron White. White racked up 35 DraftKings points last round, and could flirt with lofty numbers once again. Edgaras Ulanovas is a solid pick as well if you want to go totally cheap up front.

I don’t really trust anyone in the Podgorica frontcourt right now. I think it’s probably better to fly with Shavon Shields again. Sheilds was huge in round 7, but will have a tougher go of it today.
