Quarterback: Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns

@ Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday 1:00pm

Fanduel Price: $7,500

The Cincinnati Bengals defense is in such bad shape that starting Baker Mayfield is almost a no brainer. This group is allowing nearly 300 passing yards per game and hasn’t shown any sign of improvement.

Meanwhile, Mayfield and the Browns offense has looked better in recent weeks. Cleveland is featuring a ground attack that has allowed Mayfield to utilize a more effective play action.

Mayfield had an extremely efficient game against the Atlanta Falcons. He threw as many incomplete passes as he did touchdowns– three. Look for the Browns to get the offense rolling early in this matchup.

Backup Option: Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

vs. Oakland Raiders, Sunday 1:00pm

Fanduel Price: $7,400

Lamar Jackson’s fantasy value is directly tied to his strength as a runner. He showed this past week  just how dangerous he can be with the ball in his hands. This isn’t something he can sustain long term, but that doesn’t concern us daily fantasy players.

There is still a possibility that Joe Flacco plays this weekend, but if Jackson is in the lineup he should be under consideration for your Fanduel league. The Oakland Raiders defense isn’t capable of slowing Jackson down.
