Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Wednesday night and boy do we have a MASSIVE slate of games on tap for tonight. This is the biggest slate of the season with 14 games on the schedule tonight and will make for many options when you are building your teams tonight.

There are a bunch of good NHL DFS games to target on the night, including a rematch of the 7-5 goal bonanza between the Rangers and Islanders. We also have some other good divisional matchups including Vancouver in Anaheim, Vegas at Arizona, and the battle of the sunshine state.

NHL DFS Goalies:

Even with all the goaltending choices for tonight it wasn’t difficult to pin point my top choice, Pekka Rinne  ($8.5K). Rinne has won back to back starts and sports the best SV% (.942) and GAA (1.69) in the league (among qualifying goalies). Nashville hosts last place St. Louis who has lost 4 of 5 and has been shut out in 3 of those 4 loses.

  • With Rinne being the highest priced goalie on DraftKings you may not want to go all the way up to him, so I have some other options to look at when picking your goalie. My next goalie is Semyon Varlomov ($8.3K)as he and the Avalanche take on the Kings out in LA. John Gibson ($8.4K) is my next option  in a game against the struggling Vancouver team. My last top priced option is Carter Hutton as he comes in with a personal 5 game unbeaten streak and is playing a Philadelphia team who has lost 3 straight games. Another less expensive option is Braden Holtby taking on a Chicago Blackhawk team that has lost 9 of 10 games.

NHL DFS Top Individual Players

High Tier:

David Pastrnak ($8.2K) – I know it will take some work to get Pastrnak into your lineups and he may be more of a GPP play in a mini line stack but he could end up being the best player on this slate. Over his last 5 games Pastrnak has 5 goals and 3 assists. Pastrnak is now playing on the top line along side David Krejci ($4.2K) and Anders Bjork ($2.9K)

Alexander Ovechkin ($7.8K) – Ovechkin is still the best player in the league (maybe second best but this Penguins fan might be biased ) and has been playing like it of late averaging 5.1 FPPG in his last 5 games with 3 goals and 2 assists as well as 25 shots on goal during this stretch as well.

Matt Dumba ($6K) – Matt Dumba may be the hottest d man in the league right now that nobody is talking about. In his last 4 games Dumba has 3 goals and 2 assists as well as 19 shots on goal giving him a 6.1 FPPG average in the last 4.

Mid Tier:

Brendan Gallagher ($5.8K) – Gallagher is playing on the top line on a Canadiens team that has been surprising a lot of people with how well they are playing of late. On the season Gallagher has 10 goals in 21 games and has points in 3 straight games as well as 14 fantasy points.

Patric Hornqvist ($5.6K) – While the Penguins have been absolutely horrid of late Patric Hornqvist has been playing extremely well. In his last 5 games Hornqvist has 4 goals, 3 assists, and 31 fantasy points for an average of 6.2 FPPG in the last 5. Hornqvist is playing on the Pens second line with Jake Guentzel ($4.8K) and Derick Brassard ($3.5K)

Mike Green ($5.2K) – Mike Green returned to action about a month ago and has been pretty consistent in his play all season but it seems he is finally 100% healthy and has been hot of late. Over his last 3 contests Green has 1 goal, 4 assists and, 15.5 fantasy points

Value Tier:

Esa Lindell ($4.4K) – While John Klingberg has been out hurt, Esa Lindell has stepped up in his place with 2 goals and an assist in the last 3 along with a 5 FPPG average

Filip Chytil ($ 3.9K) – Chytil has scored in 4 straight games while playing on the top line for the Rangers with Chris Kreider ($6.3K) and Kevin Hayes ($5K)

Nikolay Goldobin ($3.8K) – Goldobin has a goal and 2 assists in the last two games for the Canucks while averaging 5 FPPG in those back to back games. Nikolay plays top line minutes alongside Elias Pettersson ($6.5K) and Loui Eriksson ($3.7K)

NHL DFS Top Line Stacks

Colorado 1 – Gabriel Landeskog – Nathan MacKinnon – Mikko RantanenThis is the best line in hockey right now with each of these guys scoring 2 goals over their last 3 games.

Carolina 1 – Teuvo TeravainenSebastian AhoMicheal FerlandCarolina does not have much depth at the forward position that is contributing, so if you are going to play Hurricanes against the Maple Leafs it needs to come from the top line of the Canes

More from FanSided

Florida 1 – Evgeny Dadonov – Aleksander BarkovMike HoffmanWith the devastating leg injury suffered by Vincent Trochek last game this line will have to step up more.

NY Islanders 3 – Anthony BeauvillierValtteri Filppula – Leo KomarovThis is a cash saving line to help you fit some of the top-tier guys in, but they are not your typical punt plays. They are actually producing, especially Beauvillier with 4 goals in his last two including his first career hat trick.

Buffalo 3 – Kyle OkposoCasey MittelstadtConor ShearyAll three of these guys play together on the Sabres PP2 unit as well as the 3rd line. If you want a one-off play, Okposo has been the hottest player of the three.

Nashville 2 – Calle JarnkrokKyle TurrisRyan HartmanEven though I am suggesting line 2 I think the Preds line 1 is a great option as well, especially Filip Forsberg, but I wanted to give a line that is producing well at a lower cost. Both Kyle Turris and Calle Jarnkrok have been playing extremely well of late as well.

Ottawa 1 – Drake BathersonMatt DucheneMikkel BoedkerI love this line!!! Duchene and Batherson have both been on fire of late and I am definitely going to have exposure to this line tonight. Duchene has 27 points in 21 games and is enjoying one his best seasons of his career, and Batherson has 5 points in his first 3 career games.
