Fantasy Football, Week 12: High value plays for DraftKings
By Dylan Broady
So here we are looking at Week 12 of the NFL season. Hopefully DraftKings has treated you well this season. Let’s dive in and see what good matchups we can find.
First things first, Happy Thanksgiving to all of our FanSiders. We hope your Holiday is filled with family fun and of course lots of football! We hope everyone has enjoyed our High Value Plays for DraftKings this season. We have had a lot of fun helping everyone out along the way. We will do a quick recap of how we did in Week 11 before diving fork first into Week 12.
Our quarterback for Week 11 went down with a unfortunate hand injury against the Indianapolis Colts. Marcus Mariota we wish you the best and hope you can return soon to the gridiron. If fully healthy we believe this was a really good High Value Play for DraftKings. It’s unfortunate Mariota never had the chance to prove us right.
Our running back Leonard Fournette once again had a really good performance in Week 11. We hit that value play on the head. Fournette rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, adding 46 receiving yards on two receptions. We projected him at 85 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns. At wide receiver we highlighted John Brown. This was before the news came out about quarterback Joe Flacco sitting out due to injury.
Brown managed one reception for 23 yards with Lamar Jackson under center. Our tight end Vance McDonald was a hit for us. He did manage a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. We will take what we can get each and every week. We will now turn our attention to Week 12, which is Turkey week and see what all it has to offer.
