DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 23, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Russell Westbrook (vs CHA – $10,900): Needs 50.1 fantasy points. Westbrook had 53.25 fantasy points in 33 minutes against the Warriors on Nov. 21. He’s back and stuffing the stat sheet as good as ever. He had 60 fantasy points against the Hornets on Nov. 1. When Westbrook plays, you pretty much know what you’re getting. The numbers will always be there, no matter the opponent. Charlotte’s defense as been abysmal this season. Diagnosis: A triple-double is always in play and he’s starting to find his rhythm after the injury.
Kyrie Irving (at ATL – $9,100): Needs 41.8 fantasy points. Unless the Thanksgiving Gods are going to smite Irving for his comments, I trust him to deliver as big of a game as anyone at this point. He’s been over 50 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And now he gets the Hawks. The fact that the Celtics aren’t great right now might work in his favor as the game could be competitive. Diagnosis: He’s on fire and it’s the Hawks.
Ben Simmons (vs CLE – $8,800): Needs 39.6 fantasy points. Simmons has been over 45 fantasy points in his last three games. It took a couple of games for him and Butler to get adjusted to each other, but Butler is the one taking the backseat and Simmons is shining. The Cavaliers played the Lakers well, but that was mainly a game of circumstances. The Cavs are still bad. Simmons will deliver. Diagnosis: The numbers will be there in all categories and his salary is good given what he’s been doing.
