We only have one more week of ESPN College Pick Em after this week. Last week I took the go big or go home approach, and, well, I should have stayed home. I only got four games right, but all of them were worth six points or more. So I figured my week wasnāt that bad. It was. 11 of the 30 that made picks had 50 or more points.
If you would like to get in on the fun, join this group and compete head to head with the writers at Fantasy CPR and with fans like yourself! Itās not too late to join!

A horrible week for Clay6805 dropped him all the way from first to 14th. mdaallen took over the top spot with 483 points. Brian Prete is just two behind him. Kev Shep! sits in third with 480 points. pitpenguins66 hangs on to fourth with 475 points. keepingthelittlehumansalive comes in fifth with 472 points.
Jay_da_gr8_1 is in sixth just one point out of the top five. earleyca is at 469. BKNoleGirl sits in eighth place with 464 points. Protege21242 is in ninth with 459 points. Rounding out the top ten is Brandon8736 with 457 points.
My 33 point week dropped me all the way to 20th. RR Surge had the only perfect week in the group, so congratulations go out to him. He made the jump up to 21st.
Only mdaallenās upset picks had MTSU. The rest of us had Kentucky. Only four of us had Oklahoma State winning.
These picks will be for the confidence version of the game, where you assign a point value from 1-10 based on how confident you are in each pick. I will publish mine here each week. If I make a change, I will just amend the original article.
This looks like another tough week. How will the group do this time around?

(1) Florida International over Marshall:
This one is a real toss up. Marshall has played better over the course of the entire season, but FIU has looked better of late. Close your eyes and flip a coin for this one. Whatever you do, donāt go too big on this one.
(2) Syracuse over Boston College:
If Eric Dungey could stay in the game, I would have a little more confidence in this one, but just a little. This is not an easy game to pick no matter how you look at it. Syracuse is the better team. Whether they play like it or not could be a different story.
(3) Appalachian State at Troy:
These teams have been on a collision course for a while now. The fate of the Sun Belt is on the line in this one, and maybe a slightly better bowl berth. Troy beat Nebraska in Lincoln earlier this year. Appalachian gave Penn State a scare to start the year. This is going to be a close game as well. Iām tempted to go with Troy at home, but I still think Appalachian has the better team.
(4) Utah State over Boise State:
The Colorado State game is making me nervous. Utah State had serious problems moving the ball in the snow. What if itās snowing in Boise? On a flat, non-Blue field in a warm location, Utah State is the better team. In Boise could be tough.
(5) UAB over Middle Tennessee State:
This is going to be the toughest test for the Blazers aside from an A&M team that was just far physically superior team to them. MTSU is their own size at least. This has been UABās year. Iām not going against that right now.

(6) LSU over Texas A&M:
I have no chance if I donāt go a little crazy this week. Not that picking LSU here is crazy, but I could see A&M winning this game. Normally I would go a little lower on this. Iām torn between wanting a respectable finish and just making crazy picks to see if I can make up ground. See if you can tell which is which.
(7) Michigan over Ohio State:
Part of me wants to see what Michigan does if Harbaugh loses to Ohio State again. Can they fire him after a two loss season in which he spent most of the season ranked in the top five? I donāt think Michigan will have to make the tough decision this year. So far, Michigan has looked like the far better team, especially over the last six weeks. I donāt see the Buckeyes bucking that trend.
(8) Florida over Florida State:
I probably should have this one lower. The Seminoles improved enough to beat Boston College. I tend to think thatās a bit of a fluke and all cupcake week did for Florida is to raise the confidence of a team that sorely needed it. That could really hurt the Seminoles here.
(9) Alabama over Auburn:
The talent discrepancy is massive this year. Not just between Auburn and Alabama, but between Alabama and everyone. Alabama would have to have a really bad day. Like two of the first halves against the Citadel bad and Auburn would have to play their best game of the year. Thatās not all happening at the same time.
(10) Notre Dame over USC:
This looks like a complete trap for the Irish, but unless the entire starting 22 gets lost on the team bus on the way to the stadium, USC isnāt winning this game. Iām confident enough to put ten on that.
