DraftKings NBA Early Picks November 25: Should we fade LeBron?

We are back with a two game day slate for our Sunday afternoon. None of the four teams in action had a game yesterday, so they should all be pretty well rested. We have a couple of interesting matchups here as the Suns will try to speed up Detroit and the Lakers will try to do the same to Orlando. Will either succeed?

Due to the short slate, I am switching up the format a little. With only two games on the slate, we really don’t need a breakdown of six people per position in most cases. We do have a couple of stars on the slate, so it’s not a poor matinee slate.

DraftKings NBA Guard Picks:

Devin Booker is a full $3,000 more than any guard at either position today. However, he just might be worth it. Booker has had a pretty strong road trip, so he should be able to keep that up in Detroit as the Suns primary option. The frontcourt is going to have problems with the towers of Detroit, so I expect a big game from Booker.

The Lakers are still giving Lonzo Ball plenty of run with Rondo out, but Orlando has allowed the least fantasy points to point guards this season. I would much rather pay the extra few hundred for Ingram, who had 35 DraftKings points against Orlando little more than a week ago.

It might be time to hop back on Reggie Jackson. He had a strong game against Houston on Friday and has a very nice matchup today in Phoenix. Langston Galloway and Ish Smith still steal some minutes, but they aren’t really playing well enough lately to consider as value picks.

Jamal Crawford is hitting a ton of shots off the Phoenix bench, but his production is really tough to predict. He could go cold at any time.

Evan Fournier has topped 30 DraftKings points six times in the last ten games and has a tasty matchup with the Lakers. Terrence Ross is in play too, but he has been rather cold lately. I would rather go with Reggie Bullock, who is starting at $4,300.

It’s time to jump off of KCP with Josh Hart healthy. That is going to kill KCP’s value, and Hart is too unreliable, especially in the first game off of injury.

DraftKings NBA Forwards:

LeBron is going to be very highly owned today, but he still only had 39.5 DraftKings points in the first game against Orlando. I think this is a slate to fade him and play mid range stars. Aaron Gordon only had 28 against the Lakers, but Nikola Vucevic has 57.5 DraftKings points on the Lakers and costs $3,000 less than LeBron. You can use that exact amount to pay up for Booker!

Another game, another 30+ DraftKings points for TJ Warren. He doens’t have huge upside, but I’m not arguing with sure value on a two game slate either. There are plenty of other places to take chances and separate your lineup.

Trevor Ariza remains a strong mid range value, but will have his hands full against Detroit. You’re better off looking at Jonathan Isaac, who had 24.75 DraftKings points on the Lakers in the first meeting. Stanley Johnson is worth a play against Phoenix if you need to be super cheap.

It has gone unnoticed, but Richaun Holmes has back to back games of more than 20 DraftKings points, and he is still just $3,200.

Andre Drummond is in a position where he can absolutely dominate again tonight. The Suns have actually done well against power forwards, which should push more action off of Blake and on to Drummond. That will also put me off of Blake and on to Drummond as well.

Ayton is still way too inconsistent and I don’t want to mess with him against Detroit. I would rather go with Javale McGee, but no lower, if you need a cheap center.
