Lee Corso will make his next headgear pick on this week’s edition of College GameDay. Will he roll with Michigan or Ohio State on Saturday?
This week’s edition of College GameDay features one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports. On Saturday, Ohio State will host Michigan in a game that will decide the Big Ten East and put the winner one step closer to a potential berth in the College Football Playoff.
There’s still a lot that needs to happen, including conference championship weekend, for the playoff picture to be shored up but a win for either of these teams is going to be monumental heading into next week.
The Big Ten West Champion Northwestern will await one of these two programs for a showdown in Indianapolis. For now, though, this is the latest installment of a rivalry that has seen Ohio State win 13 of the last 14 contests.
Michigan comes into the game ranked No. 4 and a win over the Buckeyes on the road would give them the next big resume boost they need to give the program a strong argument as to why they should be in.
Their only loss on the year is to No. 3 Notre Dame, who is also in the playoff picture at the moment.
The big question on College GameDay will be which headgear Lee Corso selects. Corso wearing the head of Brutus the Buckeye has been a common theme over the years on the best program in sports, but perhaps this is the year he rolls with some Michigan headgear?
The Buckeyes have won all six games under Urban Meyer and 13 of the last 14, so Corso would be defying the odds if he picks Michigan who enters as the betting favorite. Harbaugh has yet to defeat the Buckeyes in his tenure as head coach of Michigan, but this is perhaps his best chance since 2016 when the Wolverines nearly pulled off the upset on the road.
It's time for THE GAME!
