November 24th: DraftKings NBA DFS Tournament Plays
By Chris Brent
Welcome back readers of FantasyCPR, this is first look approach to how I am building my DraftKings NBA DFS tournament lineups tonight. Of course, so much news could break that would make this plays completely not viable, however, right now this is where I stand on my tournament lineups. Let’s get back on track tonight after a rough night of NBA DFS for me.
Bradley Beal, WAS ($7,400)
We are going to start with chalk, however, I can’t get away from Beal at this price tag tonight. The Pelicans have allowed the 8th most three-pointers made so far this season and are the 3rd in opposing three-point percentage. Beal is an absolute lock and load at this price tag. Beal is averaging 34 minutes a game and is a 1.2 fantasy point per minute player. Beal shooting 23% of the Wizards three-point attempts so far this season and the Pelicans are allowing 32 three-point attempts per game which should lead to Beal attempting 7-8 three pointers tonight. If he gets hot, he is easily going to be able to get to value. I am a little worried about a complete game stack in this game, due to the fact that Washington has been so bad defensively, that the Pelicans might completely run away with this game. However, Beal is as safe as it comes for cash games today and is a high upside play in tournaments as I think he has a chance to absolutely smash value if this game is stays close.

Klay Thompson, GS ($6,700)
Usually I hate the shooting guard position, always have a difficult time figuring this spot out, but tonight that is not the issue. I also find myself playing a ton of Klay Thompson tonight. The Kings allow the second-most three-point attempts to opponents in the NBA and Klay Thompson specializes in shooting the three-ball. Klay always seems to hit a ton of threes against Sacramento, and tonight should be no different. Klay is averaging 37 DraftKings points over his last 7 games without Stephen Curry and he is coming off a great game against Portland. I have been targeting players against the Kings this entire year and it has definitely been a profitable strategy. Play Klay Thompson in tournaments tonight.
Jabari Parker, CHI ($5,900)
The price tag has not caught up to what he has done over his last two games. Parker has a 52.25 DraftKings point performance against the Suns and then last night managed 41 DraftKings points against Miami. I am expecting this performance to carry over to tonight’s game against the Timberwolves. The Timberwolves defense is schemed to give up production to opposing power forwards who can shoot the mid-range shot. Parker has back-to-back games with double-doubles, and we can expect the him to make it three in a row tonight. Parker is an excellent pivot as people just simply don’t like playing Parker.
Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC ($5,800)
Willie Cauley-Stein is an incredible pivot on DraftKings tonight. I typically enjoying playing Cauley-Stein because he is usually price low enough not to burn me and he’s got great 40-point upside that would allow him to absolutely smash his price. In the Warriors last 7 games, they have given up double doubles to the opposing starting center in four of them games. Cauley-Stein should be able to rack up some blocks, a long with enough rebounds and points to hit that double-double bonus on DraftKings tonight. If Cauley-Stein can get the minutes, we could be looking at an absolute 20 point 15 rebound game as LaMarcus Aldridge has shown us that upside against the Warriors just a few games ago. I probably won’t use Willie Cauley-Stein in cash games, but I will be using him in my tournament lineups.
Good luck tonight folks! Lets take down all the money tonight.
