West Ham face Manchester City at London Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 24. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Premier League season resumes following the international break. Top topping Manchester City travel to London Stadium to play West Ham. City hold a two-point lead over Liverpool at the top of the table, while West Ham are 13th with 12 points.
West Ham drew 1-1 with Huddersfield in their final game before the international break. The Hammers picked up five points in their last three games under Manuel Pellegrini. Felipe Anderson initially struggled to make the transition from the style of play in Serie A to the Premier League. After going scoreless in his first six games, Anderson has scored four times in his last six games. The emergence of Anderson give West Ham another scoring option along with Marko Arnautovic, who leads the club with five goals.
City are undefeated this season, winning 10 of their 12 games. In their last game before the break, the Citizens easily beat their cross-city rivals Manchester United 3-1. Sergio Aguero scored his eighth goal of the season against United, giving him the most goals in the Premier League this season. The Citizens have scored a Premier League best 36 goals this season, nine more than second place Chelsea. City’s wealth of attacking options make them incredibly difficult to stop. In addition to being the best-attacking team, City have allowed only five goals, tied with Liverpool for fewest this season.
