Broncos throwback uniforms and helmets are fantastic
The Denver Broncos brought out their throwback uniforms and helmets for a Week 12 battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and fans can’t stop buzzing about how slick their outfits looked.
At 4-6, the Denver Broncos have the slimmest of chances at making the postseason in 2018, but they could potentially sneak in if they are able to win every one of their remaining games.
Denver faced the rolling 7-2-1 Steelers and their high-powered offense in Week 12, and the Broncos brought out their throwback helmets and color rush uniforms as good-luck charms.
Even if Denver is unable to successfully play the role of the “spoilers” against a Steelers team that is still hoping to win a coveted playoff bye in the AFC, they’ll at least look good coming up short.

If the Broncos decided to use those uniforms and helmets with the throwback logo, which appeared on the team’s scoreboard this week for good measure, as their permanent look in home games, there probably wouldn’t be very many complaints.
With a “fire” look, the Broncos picked up an early lead on the Steelers, going up 3-0 on a 41-yard field goal from ace kicker Brandon McManus, with Justin Simmons blocking a three-point try from Steelers kicker Chris Boswell. On offense, Case Keenum hit promising tight end Jeff Heuerman and star wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders with a few passes to move the chains, but he will have to improve in order to keep up with the Steelers offense.
The Broncos defense will have their work cut out for them against Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Conner, and the rest of the electric Steelers offense, but perhaps this sweet gear will help serve the Broncos as a good-luck charm in Week 12. This will be a huge test for the Broncos defense, but they have the talent to be up to this toughest of tasks.
