Lazio vs. AC Milan live stream: Watch Serie A online
By Adam Stocker
Lazio face AC Milan at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, Nov. 25. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Serie A season resumes following the international break. In the marquee game of the weekend, Lazio host AC Milan at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday. The two clubs have traded spots in the table over the past few weeks. Entering the game, Lazio are fourth with 22 points, one point and position above AC Milan.
Lazio had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo in their last game before the international break. Despite dropping points in two of their last three games, Lazio moved ahead of Milan in the table. If Lazio are going to finish in the top four, they need Ciro Immobile to be among the highest scorers in Serie A. Immobile is tied for second in the league with eight goals. While Immobile is matching his success from the previous season, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto have not. Last season, Milinkovic-Savic and Alberto combined for 23 goals and 20 assists but have only combined for two goals and three assists this year. If Lazio can get their trio going at the same time, they can put some distance between themselves and Milan and Roma.
Milan lost 2-0 to Juventus in their last game. The loss was Milan’s second in their last four games. If the loss wasn’t tough enough for Milan, Gonzalo Higuain was sent off at the end of the game and was suspended for two games. Higuain is leading the club with five goals and his loss will be tough for Gennaro Gattuso to replace in the starting XI. Highly regarded 20-year-old Patrick Cutrone will likely get the start. Cutrone has appeared in 10 games this season, scoring two goals. Another loss for Milan will hurt their chances of qualifying for Champions League, as Roma have caught fire and are gaining on both Lazio and Milan.
