High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Karl-Anthony Towns (at CLE – $10,000): Needs 47.2 fantasy points. Towns had 74 fantasy points against the Bulls on Nov. 24. I would imagine that Wiggins and Covington shoot a little better, but Towns has been very good since the Butler trade and is always a double-double threat with a high ceiling in scoring and rebounding. I’m also not sold on the Cavaliers despite recent performances. Diagnosis: He’ll continue to dominate.

Clint Capela (at WAS – $7,900): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. Capela had 37.5 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Nov. 24. Prior to that, he was over 50 fantasy points in three straight contests. The Wizards defense remains an issue and Capela should get plenty of easy buckets to go along with enough rebounds to make him with your while. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a great matchup.

Nikola Vucevic (at GS – $7,800): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. The Magic are on a back-to-back, which is worrying, but Vucevic has delivered too often this season for me to count him out. The Warriors remain thin in the frontcourt and a guy like Vucevic could do a lot of damage, especially if Draymond doesn’t end up playing. Vucevic had 71.7 fantasy points against the Lakers on Sunday. Diagnosis: Been great most of the season. But it is a back-to-back and a long west coast swing for Orlando. So be wary despite how good he can be.
