High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Tristan Thompson (vs MIN – $6,100): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. Thompson has been maybe surprisingly good this season. He’s coming off a 53 fantasy point performance against the Rockets on Nov. 24. The rebounds are going to continue to be there for him with Kevin Love out of the lineup and he gets a handful of easy points. Minnesota is a solid matchup. Diagnosis: Playing well, fairly reliable, and a high ceiling.

Cody Zeller (vs MIL – $4,000): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. I continue to love Zeller as a low-cost option who is reliable. He had just 12.7 fantasy points against the Bucks on Oct. 17, but otherwise, he’s been good enough to hit value for the majority of the season. His salary is low enough to where he won’t hurt you and he has the ability to get over 20 fantasy points without too much trouble. Diagnosis: Typically reliable. Trust him to bounce back against this matchup.

Davis Bertans (at CHI – $3,600): Needs 16.5 fantasy points. Bertans was at 30 fantasy points against the Bucks on Nov. 24. His minutes and production are all over the place as a bench player who hasn’t earned a full-time spot in the rotation, but there’s plenty to like about this matchup. Bertans could get some extra run in what could be a blowout. Diagnosis: Low-cost, playing well, could pick up extra minutes in a blowout.
