High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Jrue Holiday (vs BOS – $8,300): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. Holiday was down to 38.2 fantasy points against the Wizards on Nov. 24. Still a solid number, but you expect more from him, especially if Davis is out. He works better with Davis because there’s less pressure on him and seems to not perform as well with the extra attention. The Celtics are letting guards go off seemingly every night. Holiday certainly has that ability. Diagnosis: Better with Davis. Reliable without.

Bradley Beal (vs HOU – $7,400): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. My assumption is that John Wall ends up playing. But in case he doesn’t, Beal become the top option. He was hit and miss with Wall out of the lineup last season. His big games were huge and his poor games were broke. If Wall plays, Beal will get his numbers. The Houston defense is still a big eyesore. Diagnosis: Higher ceiling without Wall. More reliable with Wall.

Klay Thompson (vs ORL – $7,300): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. Assuming Curry doesn’t play, you know the drill with Thompson. He’s going to get his shots and he’s one of the two best shooters in the league. He chips in with rebounds, but his value is largely tied to his scoring. If Draymond Green ends up playing, that’ll open up the floor more for Thompson. Matchup is good as the Magic are on a long west coast road trip and played on Sunday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling as long as Curry is out.
