NHL DFS Man Advantage Monday November 26th
By Matt Vecchio
Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for this Monday November 26th! Tonight we get a small 5 game slate with all the games starting at either 7 or 7:30 EST. Of the small 5 games the best game on the night is probably the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Boston Bruins, we also have Ottawa in New York to tangle with the Rangers .
Even with the small NHL DFS slate there is a large selection of top guys available like Alex Ovechkin, John Tavares, Davdi Pastrnak, Tayler all, and Cam Atkinson. I haven’t decided yet which play]er is going to be my top pick for my lienup.
NHL DFS Goalies:
Sergei Bobrovsky ($8K) is the top option in net tonight against the Red Wings. Bob has won 5 of his last 6 starts allowing only 9 goals during this 6 game stretch. Bobrovsky is averaging 6.67 FPPG during his last 6 games as well. Detroit comes in losing 3 of 5 and scoring only 4 goals in the 3 loses.
Another top goaltending choice is Braden Holtby ($7.8K) visiting the New York Islanders. Holtby has won 3 straight starts averaging 8 FPPG during his 3 game win streak as well.
Other viable options, probably better suited for GPP’s are both Jimmy Howard ($6.9K) and Henrik Lundqvist ($8.1K).
NHL DFS Top Individual Plays
High Tier:
Alex Ovechkin ($8K ) – Ovechkin has caught fire of late scoring 5 goals and 2 assists over his last 5 games. It seems the return of Tom Wilson ($5.8K) from his suspension has done wonders for Ove’s game. These two along with Niklas Backstrom they make up the best line stack of the night as well.

Taylor Hall ($7.7K) – Hall isn’t having the same MVP type season he had last year but only 23 points (7 goals and 16 assists) in 21 games. After a 3 game pointless drought Hall has a goal and an assist in each of the last two games a while averaging a little over 7 FPPG.
John Carlson ($6.8K) – Carlson is have a Norris trophy caliber season with 5 goals and 20 assists on the season. Carlson has 7 assists over his last 5 games while averaging 5.5 FPPG. Carlson is the top d man for the Caps and is also the PP captain on the first unit for the Caps.
Mid Tier:
Thomas Chabot ($6.2K) – Chabot has been one of the many pleasant surprises for the Senators this season taking over for the traded Erik Karlsson. Chabot has 6 goals and 21 assists and is a dark horse Norris trophy candidate this year. Over his last 4 games Chabot has a goal and 4 assists.
Anders Lee ($5.4K) – Anders Lee plays on the Isles second line along side Brock Nelson and Jordan Eberle as well as the teams 1st PP unit and has 18 points on the season thus far. Over his last 5 games Lee has scored twice and assisted on 2 goals as well.
Kasperi Kapanen ($4.9K) – The speedster from the Leafs has 10 goals and 7 assists on the season. Kapanen plays on the Leafs 2nd line with Nazim Kadri and Patrick Marleau as well as playing the point on the Leafs second PP unit
Value Tier:
Michal Kempny ($4.3K) – Kempny has 2 goals and 2 assists over the last 4 games and is averaging 5 FPPG during that stretch. Kempny now finds himself on the Caps top D pair along with John Carlson and I would much rather take the savings with Kempny over Carlson right now.
Frank Vatrano ($4K) – You know I am digging deep on a small slate when I bring up Frank Vatrano. Vatrano has actually been playing really well of late with 2 goals and 14 FP over the last 4 games for the Panthers while playing on the Panthers 3rd line and 2nd PP unit
Jesper Bratt ($3.8K) – Bratt has 5 assists in only 8 games on the season with 3 coming in his last 4 games and is averaging 2.4 FPPG
NHL DFS Top Line Stacks:
Ottawa 1 – Mikkel Boedker – Matt Duchene – Drake Batherton
Florida 1 – Evgeny Dadonov – Aleksander Barkov – Mike Hoffman
NY Rangers 3 – Jimmy Vesey – Brett Howden – Ryan Strome
Toronto 1 – Mitchell Marner – John Tavares – Zach Hyman
