The Resident bows for the fall finale with episode 209, “The Dance.” Here’s what you need to know to watch it on TV and online.
The wedding of the season has arrived on The Resident, but for Dr. Devon Pravesh the happy day is anything but when he stops to consider whether he’s making the right decision.
Thankfully, he has his friends with him as he deals with this dilemma.

“Devon’s doubts about his relationship reach a peak as his friends and family gather for his big wedding day; as Chastain’s medical device company continues to succeed, Julian makes a discovery that leaves her uneasy about her involvement in it.”
As we head into the mid-season hiatus, one of the big stories coming out of the first half of the season has been Bell’s infatuation with medical devices as a way to bolster Chastain’s bottom line. Bell wants to make money and there’s a ton of money in medical devices, but as we’ve seen the devices have their share of risks. Julian arrived at Chastain to push these devices, but now she’s starting to rethink her decision.
Relationships have also played an important role this season as Nic and Conrad rekindled their romance and something has been brewing between Austin and Mina. With the wedding and Devon’s cold feet, the other relationships might come into spotlights of their own on Devon’s big day.
