16. Baker Mayfield (LW: 17)

Mayfield is starting to take off with Hue Jackson finally out of the way. In three games without the anchor of Hue, Mayfield has launched nine touchdowns and only one interception, including four scores on Sunday with Jackson on the opposing sideline. The Browns are suddenly back in the AFC playoff picture.

15. Dak Prescott (LW: 16)

Prescott must be thrilled to have Amari Cooper on the team, who freed from Oakland appears to be a top-end weapon again. The Cowboys are sitting at 6-5 and Prescott is simply being asked to keep the proverbial train on the tracks.

14. Cam Newton (LW: 11)

Newton has to step his game up and get the Panthers back on their winning ways after losing three straight. Carolina is 6-5 and out of the playoff picture, with Newton throwing for 2,699 — 15th in the league. However, Newton does have 22 touchdown passes and seven interceptions, showing he has the capability to make the big play when needed.

13. Carson Wentz (LW: 15)

The Eagles kept their season alive by beating the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field over the weekend, getting 236 yards and a touchdown from Wentz. The third-year pro clearly is still thinking about his knee inside the pocket, as the quick-twitch mobility is working its way back. That said, he’s dangerous and could be a serious factor in the NFC East race.
