Roma face Real Madrid at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Roma’s uneven domestic form continued on Saturday with a 1-0 loss at Udinese, and they remain outside of the European places in Serie A. In contrast, consecutive Champions League victories over CSKA Moscow have left them in a commanding position in Group G. While Roma were outclassed by today’s opponents in Madrid back in September, their CL performances at the Stadio Olimpico have been excellent, including a 5-0 drubbing of Viktoria Plzen. They’ve managed eight goals in those two previous home games, with Edin Dzeko scoring four of them, and haven’t conceded any.
Real Madrid suffered their first defeat under new coach Santiago Solari on Saturday, putting in an abject performance during a deserved 3-0 loss to Eibar. The score-line didn’t flatter the Basque side, and Madrid didn’t even rest players ahead of this Champions League clash, either, with their starting line-up including the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Sergio Ramos.
Madrid captain Ramos is lucky to able to play in this game after somehow escaping punishment for elbowing Viktoria Plzen’s Milan Havel in the last match-day, an offense that left blood pouring from Havel’s nose. Although Ramos’ team are still only six points off the top of La Liga despite their poor start to the campaign, it seems that Madrid’s priority will again be the Champions League this season.

With Roma and Real Madrid each on nine points going into this game, both sides would probably be happy with a draw.
