Lokomotiv Moscow face Galatasaray at the RZD Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Galatasaray’s 3-0 home victory in the reverse fixture was a very flattering scoreline, and Lokomotiv Moscow’s luck hasn’t improved since. An undeserved defeat in the second matchday against Schalke, courtesy of a scrappy late winner by Weston McKennie, was followed by a 1-3 loss against Porto in which Lokomotiv were the better team.
Lokomotiv also look very unlikely to successfully defend their Russian Premier League title, as they sit nine points behind leaders Zenit at the midpoint of the season. They’re without a point in the Champions League so far, but Yuri Semin’s side still have both pride and a spot in the Europa League to play for.
Although the club won’t be familiar to many viewers — this is Lokomotiv’s first appearance in the Champions League group stage since 2003 — plenty of their players will be, including ex-Tottenham full-back Vedran Corluka, World Cup winner Benedikt Hoewedes and Polish central midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
While Galatasaray still have a chance of qualifying for the knock-out rounds, few will rate their chances here: the 2-0 defeat to Schalke in the last match-day meant that they’ve now lost 13 of their past 15 away matches in the Champions League. They’re not having a great time of it in the Turkish Super Lig, either, where they’re trailing behind unfancied Istanbul Basaksehir and Kasimpasa.
The Champions League match between Lokomotiv Moscow and Galatasaray will be broadcast live on Bleacher Report. Live streaming is available on B/R Live, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the Bleacher Report app.

Galatasaray’s awful away form means that Lokomotiv look likely to pick up their first points here.
