Start: George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

@ Seattle Seahawks

Despite a sputtering offensive attack, George Kittle remains a high-end fantasy football play. He’s one of the few tight ends who sees a ton of targets and produces. Kittle is by far the San Francisco 49ers top pass catching option.

This week the 49ers have a tough matchup as they travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. Overall, I don’t expect the 49ers offense to have an overly productive game.

However, Kittle will still get his targets and has proven to be matchup proof. There’s only a handful of tight ends who I would realistically start of Kittle.

Sit: Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers

@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Greg Olsen’s production this year has significantly dropped off. The veteran tight end is not only struggling to produce; he has also seen his targets decrease. Cam Newton is making more use of his other targets like D.J. Moore and Christian McCaffrey.

This week’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is a favorable one, but it’s too hard to trust that Olsen will get enough looks. At this point, you would be just hoping that he somehow finds the end zone.

The problem is that there just isn’t many other tight end options out there. It’s possible you are forced to go with Olsen this week.
