Welcome to week 13 of NFL FantasyDraft Optimal Cash lineup build! Last week was a big success for us with our cash game lineup topping 180 points and cashing across the board thanks to a late move to put CMC in our lineup in place of Melvin Gordon

This week we have 4 games with projected point totals in the 50’s, but the one game I will be focusing on is the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Bucs. I will have 4 players from this game in our cash game NFL FantasyDraft optimal lineup with 3 of them from a Panthers stack against the Bucs and their putrid defense. We will also send some love to the Broncos who have been surprising some teams of late and put themselves into the playoff picture.

NFL FantasyDraft Optimal Lineup: QB

Our top cash game QB is Cam Newton as he takes on the 27th ranked pass defense of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa is allowing 274.3 passing yards allowed per game and is allowing over 2 passing TD’s per game as well. Newton has gone over 20 FP’s in 6 of the Panthers last 7 games and has a 15:4 TD to INT ratio in those 7 games.

Other options: Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Andrew Luck, Kirk Cousins

NFL FantasyDraft Optimal Lineup: RB

Since we are picking on the Buccaneers this week, why stop at running back. Christian McCaffrey had one of the absolute best games that any player has had all season in NFL DFS. Tampa allowed 148 yards on the ground to San Francisco in 27-9 last week and has averaged 142.3 yards allowed on the ground their last 3 games. As the best player on the field for Carolina McCaffrey is going to get his touches, whether rushing or through the air and he has the most solid floor of anyone this week, in my opinion. With Melvin Gordon out for a few weeks Austin Ekeler will get his chance to shine starting this week. Pittsburgh allowed 124 yards on the ground to Denver last week and has allowed an average of over 132 yards per game in their last 3. Ekeler is not a one-dimensional back as he caught 10 passes last week for 68 yards.

Other options: Aaron Jones, Kareem Hunt, Nick Chubb, Matt Breida

NFL Optimal Lineup: WR

This week I am paying down at wide receiver with my top two guys being Corey Davis and DJ MooreStarting with Davis, he has emerged as the Titans number 1 WR this season leading the team with 84 targets on the season, 49 more than the next receiver. Davis’ opponent this week, the Jets, allows 252.8 yards per game at home through the air this season and 22.7 completions per game at home as well. It seems that Moore has supplanted Devin Funchess as the Panthers top WR as he has either tied or had more targets than Funchess in 3 of their last 4 games together and was second only to CMC last week with Funchess out. I’ve said enough about the Bucs defense already so you already know they are terrible.

Other options: Adam Thielen, Tyler Boyd, Emmanuel Sanders, Kenny Golladay

NFL FantasyDraft Optimal Lineup: TE

Staying with the theme of the week, but switching sides we find our 4th piece of the Tampa/Carolina game stack in tight end Cameron Brate. With OJ Howard on IR Brate becomes the only real pass catching tight end on the Bucs roster. Brate caught 3 passes for 26 yards and a score against the Niners last week and this week he gets the Panthers who rank dead last in the league against tight ends.
