I missed last night’s NBA DFS DraftKings slate extremely badly. I had one of my worst days of NBA DFS yesterday, stacking a game that resulted in a 30-point blow out. The good news is I played small enough that I did not get burned too badly. Bankroll management is everything. Leading up to lock, I played around with a bunch of combinations, including Allonzo Trier, Enes Kanter, Josh Richardson. However, daily fantasy sports isn’t about what you could have played, it’s about what you finally played and I whiffed.

Let’s dive into todays 10-game slate!

Joel Embiid, PHI ($11,200)

Everyone is looking at Anthony Davis today and rightfully so, however this article is based around of getting you to think differently than the chalk and get us to unique but wise lineup construction. Embiid is my favorite play on the slate tonight, being $200 less than Anthony Davis I think a lot of people are going to miss this spot tonight. Embiid has gone double-double in five straight games and has scored at least 30 points in four of the last five. Enes Kanter doesn’t defend opposing centers well, and his backup Mitchell Robinson is a foul machine. The 76ers have also struggled to blow opposing teams out recently so I actually like the Knicks to hang in this game despite the 12.5-point spread. Embiid is an elite pivot off of Anthony Davis today. I am not playing Embiid in cash games, but in tournaments I expect Embiid to be my most exposed to stud.

More from FanSided

Montrezl Harrell, LAC ($7,200)

This spot is the best point per dollar play on the entire slate. Last night, the Suns allowed 93 DraftKings points to Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis combined. Harrell is probably the power forward that I have rostered the most this season and the Suns have allowed the best percentage of made shots within five feet of the basket this season. Harrell scores nearly all of his points from within five feet of the basket. This is an excellent matchup, we need to mash this spot and let others make the mistake of fading Harrell tonight.

Markieff Morris, WAS ($5,100)

Multi-position eligibility, which makes him much easier to roster and Morris is the best player that the Wizards have to matchup with the Pelicans big men. Nobody likes to play Morris, and the spread is close and the game has a 241.5 over/under. That is amongst the craziest over/under’s that I have seen since playing daily fantasy sports. We need to get exposure to this game and we need to think of how to get low-owned unique exposure to this game. That play is Markieff Morris. In the last four games, Morris has mashed even at the elevated price-tag. I am gladly going to be using Morris tonight, as I think he is way to cheap for his projected upside.

Noah Vonleh, NYK ($5,700)

Vonleh has been in foul trouble the last two nights, I am going to keep playing Vonleh. He’s way too cheap if he does not get in foul trouble, plus he has had two tough matchups in back-to-back games against Memphis and Detroit. Vonleh’s shown us that his floor is 20 fantasy points, even on nights that he is not playing well. I am going to once again gamble on Vonleh tonight as the price tag is rising and the ownership percentage is dropping. The 76ers defense has not been good enough to limit Vonleh tonight and Vonleh is going to want to get back on track tonight. I am expecting between 30-35 DraftKings points for Vonleh tonight.

Potential Value Plays Tonight:

Allonzo Trier ($3,800), Marcin Gortat ($3,600), Malik Monk ($3,300), Jonathan Simmons ($3,200)

Good luck tonight folks.
