After four games, Tottenham and Inter Milan are separated by three points. Inter Milan are second with seven points, three points behind Barcelona. Spurs are third with four points. The difference in the table is the result of Inter coming from behind to shock Spurs with two late goals in the first game of the group stage.
Tottenham had not been good at Wembley Stadium this season until they played one of their best games of the year, beating Chelsea 3-1. The win moved Spurs into third place in the Premier League. Harry Kane scored his 11th goal of the season, continuing his play as one of the best finishers in Europe. Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli will both try to create chances for Kane inside of the box. If Kane is able to score against Inter, Tottenham will have a strong chance of beating Inter.
In the first game against Tottenham, Mauro Icardi scored in the 86th minute and Matias Vecino scored in the 92nd minute to give Inter all three games. That win kicked started the Inter season after a slow start. Luciano Spalletti’s team have won eight of their last nine Serie A games. In the 10 games since scoring against Tottenham, Icardi has scored nine goals. In addition to being a strong attacking team, Inter are a very good defensive team. In 17 games between Serie A and the Champions League, Inter have kept seven clean sheets and have conceded only 15 goals.
