The Los Angeles Clippers are having a surprising start to the season, and they look to keep on rolling when they visit the Sacramento Kings.

The Los Angeles Clippers look to keep their early season momentum going against a team they haven’t lost to on the road in nearly three seasons.

That team is the equally rejuvenated Sacramento Kings, and the two surprising squads will square up in a nationally televised game Thursday night at Golden 1 Center.

The Clippers (14-6) weren’t predicted to be this successful, this soon. Led by a career year by forward Tobias Harris, the young-and-exciting Clippers have put the rest of the NBA on notice that it is a contender this season. After squandering a lead against the struggling Washington Wizards on Nov. 20, the Clippers have ripped off three-straight wins, with their latest being a blowout win at home against the rebuilding Suns, 115-99.

This time, Danilo Gallinari had the hot hand, leading the team with 28 points to extend their home winning streak to nine games. Now, the Clippers will hit the road for a four-game trip, starting Thursday night against the Kings (10-10), who, themselves, are showing the NBA that it has come back from the basement.

Though the Kings have split their last four games, and are currently on a two-game slide, Sacramento has an exciting core group of players that have jelled together under second-year head coach Dave Jogger. If the Kings want to take the next step, they will have to prove that they can finally beat the Clippers at home, where they have failed to do so in 11 tries.
