The Toronto Raptors have rolled through the early part of the season, and now, they’ll see just how good they are when the Warriors come to town.

Sitting at 18-4 and on top of the NBA, the Toronto Raptors look like geniuses by trading for Kawhi Leonard.

Powered by more freedom on the offensive end, Leonard is putting together an MVP season, and the rest of his supporting cast has risen to the task of being true contenders not only in the East but the entire NBA.

Toronto is having a remarkable season, and on Thursday night, the NBA world will see if this team is for real when the defending champion Golden State Warriors pay their only visit to Canada.

After dropping a close 123-116 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics on Nov. 16, Leonard and the Raptors have ripped off a six-game winning streak, with their latest victory being a come-from-behind victory at Memphis. Toronto outscored the Grizzlies 29-17 in the fourth quarter to erase a double-digit deficit, and the Raptors, as they have all season, got balanced scoring, led by Kyle Lowry’s 24 points, and a perfect night from sixth-man Fred VanVleet (18 points, 6-6 FGM).

After spending most of the past week on the road, the Raptors will play four of their next six games at home, starting with a rejuvenated Warriors squad.

After being embarrassed on their home floor by the Thunder on Nov. 21, the Warriors, led by Kevin Durrant and Klay Thompson, have won three straight to close out a four-game homestand. Their game against the Raptors will kick off a five-game road trip through the East, and Golden State is hoping to have Stephen Curry back sometime during the road trip.
