Minnesota Vikings – Michael Dieter, OG, Wisconsin

It’s truly not an NFL Draft without practically every starter on the Wisconsin offensive line being selected in the first few rounds. This trend should continue in 2019 and for the Minnesota Vikings, they could find a great fit on their roster for Badgers offensive guard Michael Dieter.

Dieter has moved all around the Badgers’ line during his collegiate career, having played center in 2016 and left tackle in 2017. This season, Dieter has served as Wisconsin’s left guard, as an interior line position will ultimately be his best fit in the NFL.

Dieter has versatility and experience that is rare for most linemen coming out of college, particularly at a program as good as developing them as Wisconsin. At 6-foot-6, 321 pounds, Dieter excels at using his big frame to wash out opposing defenders in the run game. He also has enough mobility to excel in any blocking scheme at the next level.

Finding ways to protect Kirk Cousins will likely be priority number one for the Vikings organization come draft day and Dieter is just the type of player to help get that done.
