Stick’s Picks – FantasyDraft Week 13 NFL DFS GPP Targets
Stick’s Picks – FantasyDraft Week 13 NFL DFS GPP Targets (Main Slate)
My apologies to everyone that I was unable to get a post out for last week’s slate – lots of traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. Week 13 offers DFS players on the FantasyDraft site 14 games to choose from, so it’s safe to say we have an absolutely loaded Week 13 NFL DFS slate to cover. That being said, since we’ve been on such a great run, I’m going to keep this brief and only focus on a few players at each position. I want to ensure all of you have an easy route to take for roster construction.
*Please be aware of the RB situation in Kansas City – Kareem Hunt may not play. If so, Spencer Ware will be a great pivot for salary relief, but insanely chalky. My suggestion for the moment would be to lock him in your cash lineups, and limit exposure in GPP’s – but you cannot avoid him completely!
Be sure to follow me on Twitter @sticks022 and @FantasyCPR for more fantasy football information. Thank you for reading and best of luck this week!
Week 13 NFL DFS GPP Quarterbacks:
Cam Newton ($13,500)
Cam is an absolute elite play this week. TeamRankings.com currently shows an implied team total of 29 points for the Panthers and I wouldn’t be surprised if that reaches 30+. Also, Christian McCaffrey had the game of his life last week, and Cam hasn’t rushed one in himself since Week 8… we all know how much Cam likes to give souvenirs to the kids – so, I’ll bet he rushes one in this week in addition to a big game through the air.
Phil Rivers ($12,200)
No Melvin Gordon this week in a prime-time game in Pittsburgh… Phil is going to have to keep the Chargers in this game with his arm. Phil is my #1 QB on the board this week in terms of price/expected fantasy output. He has yet to have a game where he hasn’t thrown at least 2 touchdowns, and without Gordon, I anticipate Phil throwing 3-4 this week.
Aaron Rodgers ($11,700)
The Packers are currently sitting with a 28.8 implied team total in what should be a blowout against the Cardinals. Aaron Jones‘ recent success does hinder my expectations for Rodgers a little bit, but he is due for a blowup game.
Honorable Mention
Ben Roethlisberger ($12,100)
Jared Goff ($12,000)
Kirk Cousins ($10,800)
Week 13 NFL DFS GPP Running Backs:
Christian McCaffrey ($16,600)
I hate chasing last week’s points, but it’s hard to not lock-button McCaffrey this week. Vegas is expecting a shootout in this game against the Buccaneers, so you can bet McCaffrey is going to be heavily used again this week. On PPR sites like FantasyDraft, it’s just too tough to avoid him.
Saquon Barkley ($15,200)
I’ve been hearing that people aren’t going to play Barkley because of his tough matchup against the Bears. I don’t think I believe the DFS community is that naive. Barkley has logged at least 20 touches in every single game since Week 4!
Do I need to tell you how much of a play-maker Barkley is? I don’t think so. If for some reason his ownership is low this weekend, let’s take advantage of that.
Joe Mixon ($13,100)
This one is simple: the Broncos run defense is beatable and Mixon is going to get a TON of touches in order to keep pressure off of Jeff Driskel.
Aaron Jones ($12,600)
It looks like Mike McCarthy finally listened to us – Jones is the feature back in Green Bay and he is putting on a show. I mentioned earlier that the Packers have a high implied total and Jones is going to be a big contributor to that. The Cardinals’ run defense ranks dead last in the NFL… this is a juicy spot for Jones.
Phillip Lindsay ($11,200)
This price on Lindsay is borderline criminal. Over the past two weeks, Lindsay has averaged a ridiculous 7.6 yards per carry and has found the end-zone three times! He is too hot for me to avoid and comes in as my #1 RB play for the price. The Bengals defense is awful – lock in Lindsay!
Chris Carson ($9,600)
This is simply a salary-relief play. The Seahawks are currently a 10-point favorite against the 49ers, so if the Seahawks get an early lead, we should see 18+ touches for Carson with plenty of touchdown upside.
Honorable Mention
Todd Gurley ($17,700)
David Johnson ($13,400)
Nick Chubb ($12,900)
LeSean McCoy ($10,300)
Gus Edwards ($10,200)
Kenyan Drake ($9,100)
Lamar Miller ($8,500)
Spencer Ware ($7,800)
Week 13 NFL DFS GPP Wide Receivers:
Tyreek Hill ($17,300)
A little too expensive for my taste, but Hill needs just two big plays to hit value. I don’t see how Oakland can contain him, so I’m fine with rostering Tyreek and praying for two long touchdowns. I like him a lot more if Hunt is out.
Antonio Brown ($15,600)
I was all-in on AB last week and he disappointed. I’m assuming a lot of DFS players chase the Smith-Schuster points this week (which isn’t a bad play), but I’m going right back to Brown in Week 13. This game is a great one to stack!
Davante Adams ($14,900)
If I think A-Rod is due for a blowup game, then we’re going to have to have some shares of Davante. He won’t see Patrick Peterson on every snap, and even if he does, I’ll take Adams in that matchup.
Keenan Allen ($14,100)
Stack this game! Rivers and Allen are my favorite QB/WR pairing of the week.
Julio Jones ($14,000)
Julio at home in a matchup where most DFS players will overlook him. Great pivot for low-ownership.
Kenny Golladay ($12,600)
Golladay is an absolute target monster now that Marvin Jones has been placed on IR. The Rams are going to have their way with the Lions this week, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Golladay, as they most-likely have to play catch-up all game long.
Josh Gordon ($11,000)
With or without Xavier Rhodes, I LOVE Josh Gordon‘s chances of having a big game on Sunday. I have him projected for 5 catches, 120 yards, and a touchdown.
D.J. Moore ($10,600)
Coming off of back-to-back solid fantasy performances, Moore looks like Cam’s new favorite target not named Christian McCaffrey. We always like to target this poor excuse of a pass defense that Tampa Bay brings to the field on Sunday. He will be chalky!
Courtland Sutton ($8,800)
I have to mention someone with a low-price in Week 13 – that man is Courtland Sutton. The Broncos should have no issue scoring against the Bengals, and Emmanuel Sanders will be playing in this one at less-than 100%. Sutton will score a touchdown.
Honorable Mention
Adam Thielen ($16,200)
DeAndre Hopkins ($15,400)
Odell Beckham Jr. ($14,000)
Robert Woods ($13,600)
JuJu Smith-Schuster ($13,400)
Doug Baldwin ($10,100)
Chris Conley ($8,300)
Week 13 NFL DFS GPP Tight Ends:
Travis Kelce ($13,300)
If you can afford him, play him and play him often.
Greg Olsen ($8,100)
Olsen’s best game of the season came against this terrible Bucs’ defense. He should be in line for another big game, if not better than the one he had against them in Week 9. He will be the main TE for my Week 13 GPP builds.

David Njoku ($8,100)
The Texans really struggle against the Tight End and they will certainly have their hands full with Njoku. He is coming off of one of his best games of the season and should continue to build rapport with rookie, Baker Mayfield in Week 13.
Cameron Brate ($7,300)
The Panthers’ are very suspect when it comes to covering the Tight End. This is an excellent game to get exposure to and I’ll be certain to have some Cam-CMC-Brate mini game-stacks.
Honorable Mention
Jared Cook ($8,700)
Kyle Rudolph ($7,100)
C.J. Uzomah ($6,000)
