The Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs are set to meet in the SEC Championship, but these were the best signs from College GameDay ahead of the game.

A little less than a year ago, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs met for the National Championship Game in Atlanta. The result was a thrilling overtime affair that introduced the world to Tua Tagovailoa. Now, the SEC Championship Game is in Atlanta and, lo and behold, it’s the first rematch of these two foes since then. College GameDay going anywhere else would’ve been a travesty.

Alabama comes into the SEC Championship Game with a perfect record and having looked dominant to getting there. Tua has become a full-on star at this point and is likely going to win the Heisman Trophy. When you give Bama that kind of offense to go with their always-fierce defense, they’re going to be tough to stop.

As for Georgia, they have a lone loss to LSU on their record, but have life in the College Football Playoff. If they can get past the Crimson Tide on Saturday, they’ll be into the final four of the sport. And with the way that they are capable of playing, that’s completely possible. As stated, it was completely natural for College GameDay to come to Atlanta for this type of matchup.

The SEC Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia is going to be an instant-classic, but were any of the College GameDay signs? Let’s take a look at some of the best from Atlanta in Week 14:

The National Championship Game from last year was one of the best that we’ve seen. As such, you have to believe that Georgia and Bulldogs fans throughout the country have been waiting for this opportunity since then. But beyond that, did the College GameDay signs live up to the magnitude of the moment? That’s for you and not the scoreboard to decide.
