The Duke Blue Devils bring the greatest show in college basketball back to life as they take on the Stetson Hatters on Saturday night.
The Duke Blue Devils were somewhat knocked off of their pedestal in the Maui Invitational final as they suffered their first loss of the season. However, they bounced back in their first game since and Mike Krzyzewski’s team again has the look of a juggernaut. That could be bad news for the Stetson Hatters on Saturday as they head to Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke rebounded from their loss to Gonzaga in their matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. Despite the Hoosiers having a nice and talented team this season, the Blue Devils simply overwhelmed them. The freshman corps for this team was unstoppably as they routed the Hoosiers in a 23-point victory.
Zion Williamson continues to make a strong early case for National Player of the Year as he may be better than advertised. And as good as RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish are, the big boom for Duke this season has been point guard Tre Jones, who has been fantastic thus far this season. If he keeps playing at this level, this team may well be tough to take down.

Even if the Blue Devils aren’t fully unstoppable this season, Stetson likely has little answer for this team. The Hatters are a dismal 1-7 coming into this matchup on Saturday and don’t have the brightest of futures, it seems. If they’re to have success at all, Christiaan Jones and Abayomi Iyiola will need to lead the way.

This one likely won’t be all that close on Saturday at Cameron. However, it’s a ton of fun to watch this Duke team flying around the floor against anyone, and they will certainly be able to do that against the lowly Stetson Hatters.
