Fantasy Football Rankings Breakdown, Week 13
It’s almost time for Week 13 and many leagues are in the final week of the regular season so fantasy football rankings are important as ever!
Hopefully you’re reading this article not too let down by the Saints and the egg they laid Thursday night. I’ve known the Cowboys defense was a solid unit for a while but my goodness did they put on a show. It’s rare to see Drew Brees, Sean Payton and company get manhandled like that. Let’s jump into who’s ranked high this week in our Fantasy Football Rankings!
Fantasy Football Rankings Quarterback
1. Patrick Mahomes, at Oakland Raiders
2. Cam Newton, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
3. Ben Roethlisberger, vs Los Angeles Chargers – Ben at home under the lights coming off a gruesome interception to help lose last week is a recipe for a monster game
4. Andrew Luck, at Jacksonville Jaguars
5. Jared Goff, at Detroit Lions
6 . Russell Wilson, vs San Francisco 49ers – I give up saying Wilson will come back to Earth
7. Philip Rivers, at Pittsburgh Steelers
8. Kirk Cousins, at New England Patriots – He’d be higher if his receivers were healthy
9. Jameis Winston, vs Carolina Panthers
10. Deshaun Watson, vs Cleveland Browns
11. Lamar Jackson, at Atlanta Falcons – The would change if Joe Flacco were active but it appears as though he’ll miss one more week
12. Aaron Rodgers, vs Arizona Cardinals – If Patrick Peterson gets the better of Davante Adams, where does the passing game go next?
13. Matt Ryan, vs Baltimore Ravens
14. Tom Brady, vs Minnesota Vikings – Brady has been very pedestrian for fantasy for a large chunk of the season
15. Carson Wentz, vs Washington Redskins
16. Baker Mayfield, at Houston Texans – The Browns have feasted on bad matchups but this isn’t one of them
17. Case Keenum, at Cincinnati Bengals
18. Marcus Mariota, vs New York Jets
19. Matthew Stafford, vs Los Angeles Rams – Garbage time is calling Stafford’s name already
20. Colt McCoy, at Philadelphia Eagles
Fantasy Football Rankings Running Back
1. Todd Gurley, at Detroit Lions – The RB1 takes his throne back this week
2. Christian McCaffrey, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
3. Aaron Jones, vs Arizona Cardinals – Couldn’t ask for a better spot for the promising young back
4. Phillip Lindsay, at Cincinnati Bengals – I would be shocked if Lindsay wasn’t productive and he’s got about every factor he could have going for him.
5. Kareem Hunt, at Oakland Raiders – I’m not going to go too far into the off the field issues currently facing Hunt. From a fantasy perspective, if he plays facing the Raiders is a fantastic spot. If he does not, Spencer Ware is likely in the top 15-20 for whatever length of time he is the starter, including this week.
6. Saquon Barkley, vs Chicago Bears
7. James Conner, vs Los Angeles Chargers
8. Gus Edwards, at Atlanta Falcons – If Alex Collins plays, the Gus Bus would drop a few spots but still a solid starting option
9. Lamar Miller, vs Cleveland Browns
10. Austin Ekeler, at Pittsburgh Steelers – He could get a lot of his work done in the passing game in this one
11. Nick Chubb, at Houston Texans – Hate the matchup, love the volume
12. David Johnson, at Green Bay Packers
13. Matt Breida, at Seattle Seahawks – Can we leave this guy on the field for a while?
14. Joe Mixon, vs Denver Broncos
15. Tarik Cohen, at New York Giants – He’s likely to be a glorified short area receiver again
16. Josh Adams, vs Washington Redskins – He’s supposedly in line for more work after 20+ carries last week
17. Sony Michel, vs Minnesota Vikings
18. Chris Carson, vs San Francisco 49ers – Hearing Rashaad Penny might be more involved isn’t great
19. Dalvin Cook, at New England Patriots
20. LeSean McCoy, at Miami Dolphins – This spot is wonderful for McCoy
21. James White, vs Minnesota Vikings – I truly don’t know how to gauge Rex Burkhead being back for this game but I tend to think he doesn’t have a major role
22. Theo Riddick, vs Los Angeles Rams
23. Carlos Hyde, vs Indianapolis Colts – We don’t know how Jacksonville plans to split between Hyde and T.J. Yeldon
24. Frank Gore, vs Buffalo Bills
25. Marlon Mack, at Jacksonville Jaguars – Tough spot and Mack is questionable so Nyheim Hines would be right around this spot as well
26. Dion Lewis, vs New York Jets
27. Tevin Coleman, vs Baltimore Ravens
28. Adrian Peterson, at Philadelphia Eagles – Volume might be cut into if Chris Thompson does play
29. Kenyan Drake, vs Buffalo Bills – He’s a walking explosive play
30. Jordan Howard, at New York Giants – Howard has hit the skids in a major way but the Giants have been abused by running backs lately
Fantasy Football Rankings Wide Receiver
1. Antonio Brown, vs Los Angeles Chargers
2. Tyreek Hill, at Oakland Raiders – No Watkins, issues with Hunt, it all sets up for a monster game from Hill
3. Julio Jones, vs Baltimore Ravens
4. Adam Thielen, at New England Patriots – He might actually bump down a tick if Stefon Diggs can’t play
5. Mike Evans, vs Carolina Panthers
6. DeAndre Hopkins, vs Cleveland Browns
7. Brandin Cooks, at Detroit Lions
8. Davante Adams, vs Arizona Cardinals – Patrick Peterson should give him a run for his money but he’s still going to have a solid game
9. Keenan Allen, at Pittsburgh Steelers
10. Odell Beckham Jr., vs Chicago Bears
11. JuJu Smith-Schuster, vs Los Angeles Chargers – I was completely wrong on my man JuJu last week
12. Stefon Diggs, at New England Patriots – The mid-week knee issue is a concern but if he’s active, I’m playing him
13. Robert Woods, at Detroit Lions
14. Emmanuel Sanders, at Cincinnati Bengals
15. Kenny Golladay, vs Los Angeles Rams – Regardless of the scoreboard, Golladay is far and away the lead dog in the passing game
16. Julian Edelman, vs Minnesota Vikings
17. T.Y. Hilton, at Jacksonville Jaguars – Jalen Ramsey is excellent but he can still get burned and Hilton is getting a lot of targets in close to the end zone as well
18. Corey Davis, vs New York Jets
19. Tyler Lockett, vs San Francisco 49ers – It seems like he makes one or two splash plays every week
20. D.J. Moore, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – I’d feel a lot better if Devin Funchess was out but Moore might already be the better receiver
21. A.J. Green, vs Denver Broncos – Not an easy road for a first game back but I don’t think I’d have the guts to bench Green if I have him
22. Alshon Jeffery, vs Washington Redskins – He’s been super quiet lately but WR1’s have scorched Washington on a fairly regular basis
23. Tyler Boyd, vs Denver Broncos
24. Larry Fitzgerald, at Green Bay Packers
25. Josh Gordon, vs Minnesota Vikings – Xavier Rhodes being in or out is probably most important for Gordon
26. Chris Godwin, vs Carolina Panthers – He’s been productive when he’s seen a nice target volume and DeSean Jackson is out
27. Jarvis Landry, at Houston Texans
28. Josh Reynolds, at Detroit Lions
29. Demaryius Thomas, vs Cleveland Browns – If Keke Coutee is active, bump DT down a little bit
30. Allen Robinson, at New York Giants
31. Doug Baldwin, vs San Francisco 49ers
32. Calvin Ridley, vs Baltimore Ravens
33. Anthony Miller, at New York Giants – It’s a tough call with Robinson and Miller since Chase Daniel is starting again in all likelihood
34. Adam Humphries, vs Carolina Panthers
35. Courtland Sutton, at Cincinnati Bengals
36. Chris Conley, at Oakland Raiders
Fantasy Football Rankings Tight End
1. Travis Kelce, at Oakland Raiders – He and Hill should carry the offense this week
2. Zach Ertz, vs Washington Redskins – He’s just so incredibly consistent

3. Eric Ebron, at Jacksonville Jaguars – He was a monster when Jack Doyle played, now he gets the number one role to himself
4. George Kittle, at Seattle Seahawks – The matchup isn’t great but there’s not a lot of targets in the 49ers offense
5. Rob Gronkowski, vs Minnesota Vikings – He flashed a little bit of his old self last week with a touchdown
6. Cameron Brate, vs Carolina Panthers – The Panthers have been awful against tight ends, Brate and Jameis have always had a good rapport and now Jackson is out as well
7. Greg Olsen, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Olsen has been fairly quiet this year but got the Bucs once already
8. David Njoku, at Houston Texans – Njoku could be sneaky against a team that doesn’t defend the tight end well at all
9. Jared Cook, vs Kansas City Chiefs – His team should certainly need all the points they can get
10. Gerald Everett, at Detroit Lions – This is more of a hunch but I think the production from him is mostly real and the Rams took him pretty high in the 2017 draft
11. Jordan Reed, at Philadelphia Eagles – The offense needs someone to catch the ball
12. Trey Burton, at New York Giants – You’re just hoping he finds the end zone in this one
13. C.J. Uzomah, vs Denver Broncos – He saw a whopping 12 targets last game and should see enough to be productive this time out
14. Austin Hooper, vs Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens can’t cover everyone in this offense so maybe Hooper slips through the cracks
15. Vance McDonald, vs Los Angeles Chargers – He should have had a touchdown last week and dropped it
