NBA DFS Player Pool for Saturday December 1st, 2018
By David Ramos
Today we will be building our NBA DFS Player Pool for Saturday December 1st, 2018 for tonight’s 6 game slate that is usable on both Fanduel and Draftkings. Using projections and data analysis as a guide, this pool is geared towards finishing in the green in multi-entry gpp’s as well as an aggressive run at higher stake single entry gpp’s. You can access my projections here – NBA Projections – which are updated daily by 4pm and locks one hour before tip-off.
NBA DFS Player Pool for Saturday December 1st, 2018
Point Guard: Steph Curry returns tonight and it will be interesting to see if he is on any sort of minutes restriction. We know that he is capable of hitting value regardless of minutes and head coach Steve Kerr has already said the Curry is dying to play. Last season in December he returned from a 11 game absence and put up 38 points on 13 of 17 shooting including 10 of 13 from beyond the arc in only 26 minutes. My guess is we see similar production with a full stat line. Lock and load here and don’t look back.
Other Point Guards: John Wall (Gets a Brooklyn team coming off a double overtime loss last night), Kyle Lowry, Chris Paul, Jeff Teague, Collin Sexton
Shooting Guard: Zach LaVine is coming off a poor shooting night last night, going 3 of 12 for only 8 points with 9 assists and 5 turnovers. The game log watchers will be off of him with this performance and on the back end of a b2b. This is where we take advantage. He gets a Rockets team also on the back end of a b2b and who are bottom five in the league against shooting guards. I do not expect to see much defense in this game and likely a single digit ownership on LaVine as most will look to pay down here.
Other Shooting Guards: Bradley Beal (Same reason as Wall), Justin Holiday, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks

Small Forward: Our pay down spot tonight is here and I am going right to Tyreke Evans. With Victor Oladipo out indefinetly and early 6th man of the year candidate Domantas Sabonis questionable with a lower back injury, the Pacers will need scoring from somewhere. The Kings are bottom five against small forwards in both points allowed and assists, both areas of strength for Evans – we just need him to do better than his nightly 2-10 shooting. don’t be afraid of him here, his salray on both site makes it easy for him to return 6x value.
Other Small Forwards: Jabari Parker, Robert Covington (love in this spot), Bojan Bogdanovic, Otto Porter Jr, DeMarre Carroll
Power Forward: With mega-chalk Domantas Sabonis questionable tonight, the only pay up option is Blake Griffin but our main target will be Markieff Morris. The Wizards got blown out by almost 30 points last night, with Morris only playing 22 minutes and shooting an abysmal 1-10 and 0-5 from the 3. As I mentioned earlier, they get the double overtime loser Brooklyn Nets with fresher legs and a little chip on the shoulder. Before last night’s game Morris was averaging about 30 fantasy points and 30 minutes a game off the bench since Dwight Howard got hurt. Look for the team to get back on track tonight with Morris leading the way off the bench.
Other Power Forwards: Blake Griffin, Pascal Siakam, Larry Nance Jr, Wendell Carter Jr, Thad Young
Center: The monster among men, Clint Capela, is averaging 4 blocks, 22 points, and 12 boards per game over his last 7 outings and tonight gets to face the soft Chicago Bulls interior defense. They are allowing 25 points, 17 rebounds, and almost 4 blocks a game per 48 minutes this season to opposing centers. There is no reason, unless he rests, to think that Capela will not feast again here tonight. With Chris Paul back, we can expect his scoring and rebounding opportunities tonight to be center stage.
Other Centers: Andre Drummond, Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie-Cauley Stein, Tristan Thompson (nice pivot from Capela), Jarrett Allen
