The Chicago Bears ended regulation against the New York Giants with a dramatic trick play to score a touchdown and force overtime on Sunday.
Leading a dramatic comeback on Sunday against the New York Giants, the Chicago Bears had time for one more play near the goal line to try and force overtime.
Instead of running something simple, head coach Matt Nagy decided to pull a trick play out of his sleeve, and it worked to perfection.
As time expired, the Bears ran a variation of the “Philly Special”, tossing the ball to running back Tarik Cohen, who rolled right and found Anthony Miller for a touchdown to force overtime at 27-27 as time expired.

Cohen had a performance to remember through regulation against the Giants. Not only did he have 10 receptions for 143 yards and 30 rushing yards, but he also had a touchdown as a passer. Fantasy owners who started him were quite thrilled with his performance.
It didn’t guarantee a Bears win, but it was impressive comeback from Chase Daniel and company to force overtime. Unfortunately, the Bears couldn’t keep the magic going once overtime hit, and the Giants were able to kick a field goal before holding the Chicago offense and escaping with a 30-27 victory in overtime.
