Fantasy Football 2018: 10 RB sleepers to target for Week 13
With a couple of key absences at the running back position hitting fantasy football owners hard, here are 10 sleepers to target for Week 13.
Leonard Fournette earned himself a one-game suspension for punching Buffalo Bills edge defender Shaq Lawson during the Jacksonville Jaguars Week 12 loss. Prior to his departure from the game, Fournette was leading the way for the Jaguars with 25.8 fantasy points. His absence this week could lead T.J. Yeldon and Carlos Hyde to have strong fantasy performances against the rival Indianapolis Colts, who are riding high.
Melvin Gordon was a part of the Los Angeles Chargers offensive explosion in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals, but his MCL tear opened things up for both Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson on the depth chart. Ekeler finished with 26 fantasy points against the Cardinals and looks like a must-start going forward with Gordon potentially out for the rest of the 2018 season.
Kerryon Johnson has been ruled out for another week, making it seem likely that LeGarrette Blount, who seems to be a favorite of Matt Patricia’s and feasted on Thanksgiving Day against the Chicago Bears, will have a strong game.
Those are just three of the Week 13 injuries and suspensions at the running back position that can impact fantasy leagues. Here are 10 sleepers fantasy owners should keep an eye on this week, with a focus on the running backs behind the injured or suspended starters.
